From CBS Sportsline. Really incredible

This is amazing when you think about it. Throw in him almost leaving for NFL. What a job Jim has done. Incredible. From CBS Sportsline

"The Wolverines would lose a lot of key players from the team to the NFL Draft (https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/) a few months later. It was fair to wonder if, given the turnover on the staff and roster, 2021 wouldn't prove to be an outlier season or at least an exception to Ohio State's rule. Then, despite the NFL interview, despite new coordinators on both sides of the ball (we still don't know who is calling plays on offense), a new starting QB and new stars on defense, Michigan did it again. It beat Ohio State convincingly, and this time it did it on the road, without its star runnin
g back and on a perfect fall afternoon.”

Insider Inside Intel: Offensive player planning to return to Michigan for final season

Michigan is on track to get a big name back on the offensive side of the ball next season.

After doing some digging, I asked about the status of tight end Erick All and what he is deciding to do next season. As you know, he was shut down for most of this year after having a lingering back issue that required surgery. Now that he's had his surgery and looked to be moving around well during pregame of the Ohio State game, I asked a source close to All whether he is going to use his final year of eligibility in Ann Arbor.

"That's the plan," the source said.

Good news as the Wolverines are expected to lose Luke Schoonmaker to the NFL after this year.

An All-Loveland combo will continue to be scary for teams preparing for Michigan next season.

If CFB Playoffs were around since the Bo era

Thinking back to Joel Klatt saying Michigan was in a major down period from 07-14 and decided to take a quick look back on Michigan's ranking after the OSU game since 1969 to see how many playoffs we would have. I only looked at Wikipedia for season results for each year so I believe the rankings are AP poll results. Now, I understand the playoff committee may have not had the same top 4 and I want to avoid that speculation and want to just have a fun look back at history

Michigan would have played in the 4-team playoff in the following years (14 times)
1970 (no bowl game), 1971, 1973 (no bowl game), 1974 (no bowl game), 1976, 1977, 1986, 1989, 1991, 1997, 2003, 2006, 2021, 2022

OSU during the same span:
1970, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1979, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2014, 2016, 2019, 2020

Some thoughts:
I thought OSU would have more appearances under Tressel, especially those teams with Pryor at QB.
I also thought UM would have more appearances in the 80s
Bo really had a chance to win 4-5 titles if he could win a dang bowl game LOL

Thoughts on Michigan...

..underestimating Purdue.

Purdue has beat 3 top 5 teams recently.

Yes they have but at home and not in the B1G Championship game.

Michigan could take Purdue to lightly.

This team hasn't taken anyone to lightly all year. They are on a mission to win the NC. Michigan has 4 weeks to licks its wounds and they know it.

Purdue loves to throw the ball.

Michigan just shut down the #2 offense in the country.

Let me add Purdue hasn't seen a defense like Michigan's all season nor have they seen a rushing attack like Michigan's!

Biggest thing is Michigan will win. I could care less what the score is but I don't see it close. This team in focused on one thing and one thing only!
