Before the season the was a poll by one of the posters asking the fans about a certain scenario:
I can't remember the poster, so I will paraphrase:
"Would you, as a Michigan fan be okay if Jim left, AFTER winning a Title this season?"
The poll was almost a unanimous "YES"...But many off the same oepple who statedthat this situation would be geat because he would've accomplished what he came here for, and also gave the fans wht they have been asking for and wanting.
But, as usual many of the same folks who answered "yes' are back to complain about him leaving, the portal, and of all things, recruiting for 2025 in JANUARY.
I keep thinking of this scenario when looking at some of our more miserable fans:
Some Michigan fans on this board act like this sick boy, and act as if they are entitled to MORE than "just" one Championship, and the ridculous and childish notion that we can't be happy with "only" one championship.
How many did Urban win for OSU? One.
Day has none.
My personal take is that Harbaugh delivered, and what more can you ask from Harbaugh then to come back to his alma mater and win a Championship?
Many fan's takes: More than one! Which is funny coming from some in this base who can't even remember the first one, or DO remember the first one and refuse to adress the fact that this is a once in a blue moon-type of situation.
Sadly, those folks won't remember thi one...or even the run as they have been in the throes of recruiting, and some future collapse due to an NIL situation that they can't possibly understaand because there is no true
But our fanbase has the reputation ofbeing arrogant, spoiled , and entitled due to the very actions by many one here who can't be happy with a championship.
I look askance at some of the more illogical posts, but the idea of panicking in June about, which has been easily debunked as worthless worry, has actually been replced by people worrying about recruiting and transfers in...
January?
We're not even a month past winning the Chaampionship and people are back on that stuff...I believe that this is where they are
comfortable living: In fear of the unknown "next"...But IMO that weak falling apart at the seams is very unfootball-like as far as toughness, focus, and positive energy equired to have a great program.
