Hey, I know I can always count on you, my fellow wolverine fans for advice. This is for B&B near Meijer Gardens

Mrs. Wolvernole and I are traveling on up north again, on our annual trek, and thought we would do a first-time swing over “west” to the Grand Rapids area to visit (a)Meijer Gardens, (b) nearby Zoo (looks pretty cool!), and (c) nearby tour of a Frank Lloyd Wright house.
Amazingly, despite having been in virtually every nook & cranny of the great State of MICHIGAN, we have somehow missed that specific area of Greater Grand Rapids ! (been wide around it in passing by).
Could you folks that are particularly familiar with those 3 spots recommend a super 😎 cool….say B & B or accommodations with some kinda special/local “flair” that would be a “memorable” say….2 night stay ? This would be about mid-week, early-ish June.
Oh, and maybe I will stretch that recommend request to also ask if you could recommend a notable restaurant kinda convenient to that immediate area (avoiding too much driving around).

We sure would appreciate it ! That Meijer Garden has been on our ‘Bucket List’ for years, and we decided “Hey, better do it soon !”😵‍💫
Again, thanks for any thoughtful recommendations. 👍

Josh - recruiting strategy thoughts - Quincy Porter vs. OSU and Akylin Dear committed to Ole Miss?

Josh - good to see that Quincy Porter will be in AA for a few days before he heads to a similar trip to Columbus and Alford's aggression in pursuing Dear who's already committed at Ole Miss for 2025.

It feels like some more aggressive approach on WR and RB recruiting vs. last year - small sample size I know but like to see it.

What are your thoughts on Bellamy and Alford's recruiting approaches under Coach Moore?

TIA

Michigan attracts Top QB Available in Portal, and Underwood is Having Second Thoughts About LSU Commitment

Happy April Fools!

As we all know, Michigan doesn’t pay non-rostered players. And if you imagine the story might be different at any other position, Michigan isn’t exactly attracting a bunch of Top 100 overall talent at any position on the field whatsoever—including runningback, offensive tackle, defensive end, and cornerback.

Recruiting Quick Notes: 2026 LB Colsen Gatten sees potential fit with Michigan

Michigan hosted 2026 LB Colsen Gatten over the weekend and was able to take in his first experience of Ann Arbor after being offered by the program recently.

After speaking with Gatten, it's clear that the Wolverines will be a factor for him moving forward, with Brian Jean-Mary being another highlight for a linebacker recruit.

Here are some quick notes from his visit:

- Gatten was able to catch practice during his time on campus and walked away impressed with the linebacker play, he was able to get a firsthand look at how the unit operated under the defense
- The physicality and smarts, specifically, is what drew him to the linebacker play
- He sees similarities between how the linebackers play and how he plays the position himself
- Brian Jean-Mary is a 'very good coach and an even better person' with the relationship playing a factor for the 2026 recruit.
