Recruiting 2025 WR Jacob Washington's visit to Michigan was 'unlike any other'

“This visit was a great factor in propelling The University of Michigan to the very top of my list.”

2025 WR Jacob Washington recaps his recent two-day visit to Ann Arbor, which resulted in an offer from receivers coach Ron Bellamy:

More bad looks for the NCAA

First they book UConn Men’s basketball on budget airline Allegiant with almost no backup options if there flight is delayed. Of course it is because of mechanical issues and the UConn teams gets a sleepless night because of it..

Now U of M student journalists who have travelled to every game are being denied 2 of 4 requested passes to the Frozen Four

Hausmann and Barham "meeting the challenge"

Brian Jean-Mary says Michigan needs to replace two of the best linebackers to come out of Ann Arbor in the last two decades.
That challenge falls on Ernest Hausmann and Jaishawn Barham. The goal is physicality, scheme knowledge, and leadership.

With the rumblings of Moore opening the offense up a little bit more

it will be very, very interesting IMHO. The idea of throwing the ball slightly (a little more possibly) more, especially in RPO sounds like it will challenge opposing defenses more. Not a speed in space pass happy attack. I had to add a bit of reason to get what I was sayin in this post.

Call it the "Pound & Ground w/a little RPO at the right time".

It's Good news, Wednesday! 4-3-24

My good news is we are in ANOTHER Final Four. Like the FB team until this year, the hockey team has come up short. Maybe this is the year we get another Natty. Go Blue!

We had a fantastic time with our niece over her spring break. Big props to my daughter for planning the week and staying with us the entire time.

After the spring break visit and getting past losing my mother-in-law, I am finally back on my bicycle. I only have a month to train for a four-day ride in Alabama, and I'm looking forward to the grind.

I would like to report that quitting processed sugar and caffeine has not been as difficult as I thought it would be.

What's your good news?

Go Blue!

Projected weather forecast for November 29th and 30th in Cowtown is 50 degrees with a low of 41 to 43 degrees..

..with clear skies on the 29th and overcast on the 30th. That is bike weather! Well, bike weather if you’re wearing thermal lined jeans, heated socks, and one of those new heat vests Pops wears when he goes golfing every week no matter how cold it was. So it appears that me and my cousins are gonna roll in with a crew to osu for 4 in a row!

To be honest, as my mother’s primary caregiver/interpreter/positive atmosphere provider, etc..I really need a few days on R and R..away from the constant stress and cut loose a little. No alcohol of course, but maybe some alchemy..we’ll see.

My ‘77 KZ1000..Goose’s bike from the 1st Mad Max movie that I just fell in love with as a 13 yr old, is now running pretty smoothly. The back of the bike is still cut apart as Jerry and I figure out the right angle to mount the mono shock and rear swing arm. Looks like to me the measurements say weld up the frame perch 5/8ths to 7/8ths back from where the seat meets the back of the gas tank. This will give the shock a more upright position in order to make it easier to set the absolute bear of a job mounting the shock to the swing arm in order to set the alignment perfectly. That is a job that will ruin your bike if you don’t spend days measuring, leveling, and doing the calculations to get it right the first time. If not, you’ll never get it in alignment as heat from the welder easily warps the frame even when you take your time. One shot to get it right. Think I’m gonna let Jerry handle that.

It appears that my 1 game this season will be The Game, but you never know. If not it’ll be USC.

P.S. - we had a 5.0 earthquake that was felt from New York, throughout New Jersey, hit the Southeastern part of Pa, and was felt as far south as Maryland. I was getting gas and felt the ground shake. Buildings in Philly swayed. Pretty trippy maaan!

Recruiting Michigan at the 'top tier' of interests for 2026 ATH Cam Thomas after visit

"I'm definitely still high on the Michigan program because they develop well, and what I saw matches my skillset."

2026 ATH Cam Thomas (West Chester, Ohio) reflects on his latest visit to Ann Arbor:

Insider Oh Johnell Davis…

A lot of talk surrounding FAU guard Johnell Davis who is currently in the portal.

Asked around for a status check and right now I’d say I am cautiously optimistic that he will be heading to Michigan. Haven’t received definitive word but early indications is that Michigan is going to be the choice.

He has a chance to be back with the staff that helped bring him to FAU in Akeem Miskdeen and Dusty May, which is a major pull.

Stay tuned.
