Enjoy the weekend

Stress has run high for every fan of Michigan. This weekend all these shows will have a segment or two on it. Just say f... it. I am not watching any of these jerk offs. Especially FOX and Urban stinky finger.

Heard from a friend inside Schembechler Hall the team is ready to get back to work. There will be some bonding over the weekend with some watch parties of a few games. The captains have really stepped up this week to lead. We need to be proud and support these boys. This team is special we are going to win a NC. Don't let the noise effect the enjoyment of that. These kids are ready to make us proud. F..Ohio and Sparty nation. We took one to the train station last week and the ass kicking Cryin Ryan Day will get on Thanksgiving weekend will be epic. We might lay a 100. Wouldn't that be great. Everyone enjoy the stress free weekend and watch some games. Purdue better watch out. The boys are coming. Go Blue and thanks to Josh and the crew for keeping all of us sain...well.sort of.

Let me spell this out for those of you having trouble with the real takeaway of the TCU article.

The issue is 1000% absurd and has now jumped the shark. Take a little walk with me now.

1.) TCU knew about our elaborate sign stealing scheme because EVERYONE knew about it. However it seems that only Sonny Freaking Dykes is competent enough to do something about it.
2.) We knew all of their signs. Yet, we almost CERTAINLY didn't attend any TCU games in person, so where did our vast knowledge come from of their signs? From other means? Oh. OK, so how significant is our in person attendance for competitive advantage then?
3.) TCU used our knowledge to their advantage and faked us out. (plays that worked) Wow, you're sweet Sonny.
4.) However, we got them on some plays (plays that didnt, of course were due to sign stealing - OF COURSE). Oh too bad Sonny, you got robbed there.

This issue is now officially an insult to all of our intelligence. Clearly, the interpretation of the significance of our sign stealing "crime" is determined ENTIRELY by what the interpreting party has to gain.

The one tangible thing I'm taking from this....Ryan Day is a complete and total B...

The media take compared to former players..

Is quite the contrast, isn’t it? The other day on ESPN Jeff Saturday and Marcus spears essentially concluded this whole thing was no big deal. Everyone is making an effort to steal signs, and even with signs there’s still so much more to the game. And they also harped on the ncaa not allowing helmet technology - want to eliminate this? Allow helmet technology. The majority of former players (excluding osu and msu for obvious reasons) seem to align with this.

Then you have the media. The sum of the media takes is that this is bordering on a SMU situation. Horrifying cheating scandal, etc. People opining from all over the place, outlets like espn obsessing about this, and even complete hacks like Mike freaking Farrell’s site (wait - he has his own site? Lol) taking huge swings at Michigan.

I’ve never in my lifetime seen such a wide gap in perception (media) vs reality. This is absolutely NOT a big deal. But my word is the media doing everything they can to make it one.

You have programs like Tennessee, Lsu, Kansas etc etc who’ve been caught with serious violations, and what have they faced?

And the osu fanbase…talk about little brother. Yikes. What a soft and embarrassing group. Can not wait until November.

Thank you so much

Truly. It’s been a wild few days and I finally have some time to breathe for a second.

Just wanted to thank you all for staying patient with me as we all navigate this stuff together. It’s made my life so much easier.

I also want to thank all those who may have returned to us or are giving us a shot for the first time. We have seen record-setting subscription growth this week and with no signs of slowing down.

The fact that you choose us truly means the world to me and my staff.

As I always say, you want to see growth, of course, but you don’t want to do so at the expense of the community. You all are the reason why we’re here and why we’re here to stay.

Thank you all, again, truly.

Let’s keep this train rolling.

This administration needs to...

....continue to cooperate and fight this to the end. IF there is ANYTHING to fight!

They need to DEFEND Coach Harbaugh UNCONDITIONALLY!

NONE of US can live through any more 3-9 seasons or 7 years of DREADFUL FOOTBALL.

Jim Harbaugh needs to get his new contract and when he is ready to retire transition the program over to someone he trusts.

That was plan prior to this bullshit and they should not waver on the plan!!!

Ono and Warde are in full support on Coach Harbaugh so it will get done!

Josh Henschke

I just have to say, you have a real talent as a moderator. I appreciate your level-headed, zero-drama approach. I am on another board, and the moderator is just the opposite. The sensationalism results in tons of drama, and an anxious fanbase that loses the ability to reason. Every time I leave that Forum and enter here, the mood, along with the rational discourse is night and day. Great work. Especially in these situations. O Captain...

Insider Intel: On the NCAAs visit…

There has been reporting on social media today that the football coaching staff were not part of the NCAA interviews today, that is accurate. No staff were interviewed today.

However, we’ve learned this meeting went beyond Schembechler Hall and with the higher ups (assuming Ono and/or Manuel).

Not sure what came of the meeting but confirming that the football program wasn’t directly involved today.

NCAA Hearing

Can anyone think of any member ncaa institution in last 30 years who was charged with a violation, disputed the violation, and had an actual administrative, adversarial hearing under the ncaa bylaws? I can’t think of one. Am I missing an obvious one? These seem to be always settled with negotiated settlements. I have a theory as to why but wanted to check if I am missing one.

Here's a little non-football, non-sign-stealing, non-Connor Stalions content for you all! Michigan hits the floor in just eight days!
