After a record number of seat requests for the B1G Championship and CFP, seat locations will be issued for Indy tomorrow.

Nearly 18,000 requests for 4 tickets were received for Indianapolis. UM only has 10,000 tickets. If you weren’t in the top 10% of donors, tickets were scarce. It will be even tougher for the CFP.

Furthermore, requests for 2023 season tickets are no longer accepted. The stadium will be full, save for the student section. We need to contract on that front.

This guy seems to “get it.” Confident but humble. Has a sense of humor. Seems to have the right priorities and talks about athletics and academics; community service. He is an intense guy, to be sure.

There was lots of pushback when the rumors the hire was coming got out last week.
Seemed Auburn was going to go in a different direction, but with Lane Kiffin re-upped at Ole Miss there didn't seem to be many options.

Michigan is on track to get a big name back on the offensive side of the ball next season.

After doing some digging, I asked about the status of tight end Erick All and what he is deciding to do next season. As you know, he was shut down for most of this year after having a lingering back issue that required surgery. Now that he's had his surgery and looked to be moving around well during pregame of the Ohio State game, I asked a source close to All whether he is going to use his final year of eligibility in Ann Arbor.

"That's the plan," the source said.

Good news as the Wolverines are expected to lose Luke Schoonmaker to the NFL after this year.

An All-Loveland combo will continue to be scary for teams preparing for Michigan next season.

The wife and I went out today for breakfast at IHOP then some shopping at PetSmart, Meijers, Krogers and Costco. I did not see one person wearing O$U gear. I did see a lot of people sporting their Michigan gear though. It just keeps getting better.....

Thinking back to Joel Klatt saying Michigan was in a major down period from 07-14 and decided to take a quick look back on Michigan's ranking after the OSU game since 1969 to see how many playoffs we would have. I only looked at Wikipedia for season results for each year so I believe the rankings are AP poll results. Now, I understand the playoff committee may have not had the same top 4 and I want to avoid that speculation and want to just have a fun look back at history

Michigan would have played in the 4-team playoff in the following years (14 times)
1970 (no bowl game), 1971, 1973 (no bowl game), 1974 (no bowl game), 1976, 1977, 1986, 1989, 1991, 1997, 2003, 2006, 2021, 2022

OSU during the same span:
1970, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1979, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2014, 2016, 2019, 2020

Some thoughts:
I thought OSU would have more appearances under Tressel, especially those teams with Pryor at QB.
I also thought UM would have more appearances in the 80s
Bo really had a chance to win 4-5 titles if he could win a dang bowl game LOL
