Regents

Hard to spin the Regents meeting as positive news. Yes a contract was negotiated and presented to Harbaugh's representative and absent the recent news/allegations. Would likely have been signed and announced. the Board of the University asked for a ad hoc meeting to push President Ono to enquire on what he ( and Athletics) know at present regarding the situation and to ensure that they do not move forward with the retention/extension of anyone who could be involved in violations without reporting back to the Board. Its seems entirely reasonable given both the speculation, the facts as presented thus far and, unfortunately sobering with respect to the program and how the leaders of the university perceive the impact

I got a little concerned about trey Henderson until...

Looking at Ohio state's run game yesterday I thought "man we could be in trouble" But then I came to my senses after looking at the stats. Ohio State ran for 184 yd against Wisconsin. Just over 4 yd per carry.

However, upon review, Illinois ran for 223 yards against Wisconsin's defense (5ypc). Iowa ran for 200. (LaShon Williams had 174 yd and 7 yd per carry).

Purdue who is not known for physical offense, being physical or having an offense this season 😂 ran for 194 yd as a team at nearly 6.3 ypc. Wisconsin has a habit of giving up rushing yardage to anyone with a pulse.

Wisconsin Purdue, Iowa and Ohio State. Half of their opponents have had success on the ground. Even though Henderson gives Ohio state's run game a bit of teeth... Doing so against Wisconsin isn't as impressive as it looks at first. Food for thought.

What I understand a big football fan and supporter of Coach Harbaugh. Last night I emailed all regents accept Ron Weisner ( he has no email listed) and very polity expressed my support for the program and for Coach Harbaugh. Was very clear that we as fans want him supported. Have your voice heard send an email or phone call. Just be professional and make your stance clear. That's all we can do. Have emailed Warde and Ono as well. Will they read one email I don't know but if we send a few hundred to thousand maybe it makes a difference

OT: Big game for the Lions on MNF

The Lions like everyone else is dealing with injuries and St. Brown is probably playing, but how much will be TBD due to his illness. You beat the Raiders tomorrow, you go into the bye week 6-2 and tied for the 2nd best record in the NFC. At this point of the season, the NFC North is the Lions division to lose because GB is not playing well, Chicago is a mess, Minnesota poses to be a threat for Detroit, but without Kirk Cousins for the rest of the season due to a potential Achillies injury...they may struggle to tread water as well. I could see the Lions make a move at the trade deadline or stay pat if Brad Holmes thinks that the squad will get healthier after the bye.

Anyway, I will be at the game tomorrow so that should be fun! Go Lions!

Take this however you want...

...but here's where I'm at.
I have followed @Josh Henschke ... @Trevor McCue ... @Seth since they all came on board here. They all contributed an incredible amout joy as well angst to my time on here.

The one thing I respect most is the lack Absurd bullshit that other sites put out. This has lead to an AMAZING group of members who join in on threads and stay respectful even through the most trying times.

This latest drama in the saga known as...As The Michigan Turns has been handled in an incredible manner by Josh and the staff. Just the facts (which are few) and some inside information which is greatly appreciated.

This in contast to espn the other 2 major sites and a host of other hacks that has brought in some cases flat out lies to the fanbase leading to unnecessary angst to the members on here and the fanbase as a whole.

My suggestion for all of us is to read an article thoroughly and scrutinize its content before posting on here what appears to be 99% dribble.

Absolutely NO one knows where this is going but my trust will stay with Josh and Co. Keep in mind EVERYONE had Harbaugh gone 8 months ago and Josh kept telling us that's not what he was hearing and the rest were 100% WRONG.

Insider Reported NINE days ago...

About Harbaugh's contract.

Again, nothing shocking.

Insider On the regents meeting...

My understanding is that the meeting took place today, not tonight. It was a meeting between the regents and Warde Manuel. Initial reactions suggest it was a meeting to get everyone caught up on the latest with the NCAA investigation. Contrary to some, this is not a doomsday scenario and is a positive thing.

Will try to have more when I have it.
