We're punting on our weekly subscriber chat to next week

Obviously, most of the questions in the subscriber chat would've been about the Big Ten, the investigation and everything else in between and I feel as if most of those questions have been discussed pretty thoroughly across the board.

Plus, I totally forgot about it 😂

We'll continue with regularly scheduled programming next week.

Im wondering if Tony P. ...

....if Tony P. is weighing the optics and backlash he will face from suspending this late or not suspending.

He has got to be trying to find some middle ground where there is none. He's either giving the mob what they want and will get destroyed in court and even the media for being chicken shit by waiting so long or he will defer to the ncaa and get destroyed by the media for having to backbone.

The latter scenario dies quickly. The first scenario would be the gift that keeps on giving and he would need to start looking for a new job.

I'm sure glad I'm not in his shoes.

Recruiting 2025 WR Quinn Morris talks visit to Michigan, updates recruitment

"It is like a family up there. The coaches are very close with all the players and there are good relationships."

2025 three-star WR Quinn Morris (Plainfield, Ill.) talks Michigan, what it's been like to watch his brother in-person at the Big House, and updates his recruitment:

A suspension today would

be a disastrous move from a PR and legal standpoint. People who think Harbaugh should be suspended would even be upset by the move. I’ve seen “petty” “pathetic” “bush league”.

Courts are not going to be impressed by the timing either. They would view it as a deliberate tactic. Michigans response would be powerful.

This is why I’d be very surprised if he was suspended today.

OT: Tigers getting a fantastic play-by-play man

Jason Benetti leaving the White Sox for the Tigers.

Benetti is a wonderfully talented broadcaster - he's Fox's #2 college football guy and he has done a ton of college basketball as well. You've heard him do many Michigan games, first for ESPN, then for Fox. One of the best multi-sport play-by-play guys I've ever heard.

He's only 40 years old. Grew up in suburban Chicago as a White Sox fan, but his last contract negotiations grew acrimonious over how many games he misses to do national stuff. He misses close to 1/4 of the games.

He's whip smart - he actually has a law degree - and has a fantastic dry wit as well as voluminous sports knowledge to go with his top-shelf wordsmith ability.

He also has an amazing feel for the classic PBP role in calling the action and setting up his partner. He has no "schtick" - just a beautiful broadcast every night.

As a Sox fan, it makes me sick that he's leaving. You Tigers fans will enjoy his work.

Ironically, the White Sox will now be announced by a Detroit guy/Tigers fan (Len Kasper) and the Tigers will be announced by a Chicago guy/White Sox fan (Benetti).

PSU Game

Am I the only one who is beyond nervous for Saturday? I just think this psu defense at home could give us major problems. I really think Michigans offense can’t have any turnovers Saturday. I also think our defense is going to have to create 1 to turnovers w short fields to punch 2 tds in. This game scared me before the season even started. Hoping our offense can break off some big runs and keep the defense honest. Go blue
