Looking ahead to the indiana game

Michigan in Big Ten play has these Kenpom ranks:

Offense: 4
Defense: 3

Indiana:

Offense: 6
Defense: 9

For perspective

Illinois
Offense: 9
Defense: 4

We have the profile of a tourney lock had we done anything in the non-conference. In fact, beating central michigan has us as a lock.

This is a tough spot.

We were just devastated in a game we had won and played two OTs.

indiana was completely humiliated by iowa.

They have two extra days rest.

They are already a tournament team.

This team has to dig deeper than they ever have.

Conference tournament wins can be weird. It's hard to know how much value the committee gives on these. Last year indiana made a run and beat the top seed illinois and made it to Saturday and got the play in.

I believe Texas A&M made it all the way to the SEC title game and got left out at 23-12. Their schedule strength was weak though.

Protected rivals

A lot of talk about how this is going to shake out. To me it's obvious, OSU, MSU and Minnesota. For some reason the jug seems to have lost a little bit of its luster but before we went to 14 teams and a division format it was a big game for us every year. I can't make a case for anybody over the Gophers

Potential #1 draft pick Jalen Carter arrest warrant!

Potential #1 draft pick and highest rated player on most draft analyst boards has been issued an arrest warrant related to the January 15th accident that killed a fellow teammate and a recruiting analyst. Basically, they were racing, swerving in an out of lanes, etc. He lied to police about his involvement and left the scene of the accident.
