Basketball Is this too harsh?

I saw this from The Daily today that is making the rounds on X to pretty split opinions. Some are screaming for this to be taken down, others are OK with it.

What do you say, is this too harsh?

I understand the premise of it and the program certainly failed to live up to expectations the last few years but it feels like this comes off as dancing on someone's grave. Not sure how to feel about it and the reactions are certainly mixed.

Recruiting Analyzing the impact of the Tony Alford hire on the recruiting trail

Last week, Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore made a splash with the hire of running backs coach Tony Alford from Ohio State.

Analyzing the impact of what Alford brings to the table on the recruiting trail for the Wolverines:

Insider Intel 3/19: More coaching search Intel…

Things continue to be quiet on the basketball search front, as I expected them to be once this thing began. There was an expectation that things were going to be pretty tight-lipped and it’s certainly been that way.

I haven’t been able to get a sense of any candidates that should be considered serious quiet yet. Spoke to one source today who felt there wasn’t anything out there he considered serious, either.

There are names we’ve heard, of course, such as Dusty May, Niko Medved and Jerome Tang. May’s name has been fairly consistent throughout.

For those hoping for DeVries, spoke to someone familiar with West Virginia’s coaching search and they feel pretty confident that he’s going to be the guy for them, so we’ll what happens there.

Wish I had a bit more with the amount of asking around I’m doing but I can only share what’s being said right now.

Insider Intel: Quick bball search nuggets

- DeAndre Haynes is NOT a candidate currently.
- Michigan is hiring Turnkey to be the search firm to hire a new name.
- Mick Cronin’s name has been thrown around but I haven’t gotten much of a sense of the seriousness of it all. There’s been talk that his buyout with UCLA is void because of the conference change but, again, not sure on where he is on any pecking order (if there is one right now).

- If Beilein were to be asked back, there’s talk that he would only want to come back for one year to help get things back on track. Personally, if true, it doesn’t make much sense to me.
- The general consensus is that people will have to be patient here if you’re looking for a good coach, all of the good candidates are currently in the tournament.

Reddit /Michigan Wolverines subreddit groups are wild…

I was there because I post on r/TBI subReddit groups about my life going undiagnosed until 2003, and pumped full of every psychiatric drug in the catalog after each incorrect diagnosis. I also took questions on all the research I’ve done about microdosing for TBI (inconclusive to not promising). and the new movement away from creating new complicated designer stimulants that cost millions to develop, then more years of studies for FDA approval, resulting in a name drug that have new side effects that take years to find out just how wide and deep the damage is from prescription use.

Finally a movement I’ve been advocating for my personal treatment and at UofPenn. I’ve told the HNIC (head neurologist in charge) they are wasting billions on ineffective new meds while people are dying because many of these new stimulant hybrids have been rushed into production because psychiatric treatment has hit a wall in advancing drug treatment. The drug companies are doing their best to hide information that shows suicide rates across the board for a variety of mental illnesses are spiking and the profit from a newly patented medication they can make up a price for is the reason. A few years ago I found a few studies showing promising data by treatment of dopamine starved brain disorders of patients with old school straight up amphetamines. I just read an article yesterday that there is a movement in the phsyciatric back to using 70s drugs of amphetamines, barbiturates, mescaline made from the Cactus extract, 1980s party drugs MDMA (exstacy) and ketamine because the drugs are simplistic compounds without the morass of alterations to remove some effects of the drugs, as a result, they produce stronger desired responses that intensify the therapeutic effect most desired by the therapists. Maybe most importantly, all these drugs are not under patent and can be produced and sold at beyond reasonable prices.

Yes, there will need to be extra attention to the possibilities of abuse, and writing only 2 week scripts is one way to control overuse. But it comes down to compassion and simple economics. Just as our Military has changed on the fly after The Russian invasion of Ukraine to demand cheaper simpler weapons systems Ukraine is using with great success, so too has the Physicians and Surgeons in the Medical industry are demanding simpler compound medications of the past with a proven history of success in the field of psychiatry.

I got a tons of comments for that post. Then I started to notice I was getting more and more negative replies from the God Squad, and I just don’t have the energy to engage those who don’t recognize facts as truth At present. It’s like the 2 words mean something totally different to them. Besides, my Aunt is not long from this earth, and I’ll be up to my tits in my born again relatives Soon enough. Can’t wait to see the matriarch of the group, my sicko cousin who is a disgusting degenerate masquerading as Tammy Fae Baker. I don’t know which Argus will show up, which is the juice in that game.

then I went looking for subreddit Michigan Football groups and found about 5 or 6 with 50k to 77k members. Joining the group and seeing all of the batshite crazy theories was quite entertaining. As crazy as we think some of our members are…and of course I’m including myself in that group..there are some real tinfoil hat/mom’s basement type of post action happening. The pic section was cool if you like Michigan female gymnastics and the cheerleading squad. Don’t know how much time I’ll spend at the Michigan subreddit groups there. I go there to help the TBI kids….there’s enough Michigan crazy here.

Recruiting On Luke Metz...

Recent visitor 2025 LB Luke Metz has a commitment date of March 24. I am not expecting Michigan to be the choice despite a very good multi-day visit over the weekend.

He has two more SEC visits to take before his announcement but I am expecting him to stay down south, I'm thinking likely Bama.

Football Spring Position Breakdown: Cornerback

Michigan has the best cornerback in the nation in Will Johnson. The only question with him is how high is his ceiling?
Once again, we have a battle at CB2, and two second-year players lead the way.
The X Factor tasked with replacing Mike Sainristil.
