Underwood's Final Stat Line

FWIW and it's unofficial but....

I had Underwood for 11-of-22 for 196 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. He carried the ball 11 times for 31 yards and two touchdowns. He was sacked three times in his final HS game.

His final HS pass was an interception.

It's been fun watching him mature from a 5-foot-10 chubby freshman to now. Excited to see wherever his next journey takes him.

How Do You Read… ?

… Nebraska replacing its offensive coordinator with only 3 games remaining in the season? Dana Holgerson has a decent rep as an offensive coach and looks like a good addition to Matt Rhule’s staff. So how do people feel about a mid-season change versus waiting until the season is over?

It’s unlikely that Holgerson will make significant offensive changes. But he’ll have a month’s head start before the early signing day, when most teams sign the majority of their high school recruits.

A Look Ahead

With our boys on a bye week I went and looked at next years schedule and it seems way more favorable compared to this year. As we know we still have to reload and hit the portal hard and teams can reload a lot easier but with the way our NIL & recruiting dept are seeming to come together Im optimistic about next season. WAAAYYY to early predictions:

Wins: New Mexico, Central Michigan, Maryland, Purdue, Michigan St., Northwestern

Toss up: Washington, Wisconsin, Nebraska, USC, OU

Loss: Ohio St.

I believe we go 9-3 losses to Ohio, Nebraska, and either OU or USC.

Just a fun exercise because we have so far to go to get here but I’m excited to see Coach with a full offseason with NIL all in place and ready to go. Some reshuffling on the coaching staff and a more favorable schedule!

Go Blue!

Basketball By the Numbers: May in November

Give it up for data.
Dusty May told us what Michigan Basketball would be in his era, and three games in, our eyes say he was right.
What do the numbers say? Where is Michigan thriving, where can they improve, and which players are leading the way?

naturally many have been waiting on this one and after Sherrone Moore saw the duo in person last night, the offer was made. Boggs is now pivoting towards a UM official visit, with the date TBD.

Thank you, Den

I'll tell you what, this Underwood saga has been just another one of those things we all grind our way through together.
Josh and I have to spend way more time than we'd like in the social media sphere, and man, emotions are wild right now.

I just hope you all know much we appreciate you, and this community we've built together. I think this Bryce stuff has just been another clear marker and representation of the type of coverage we do here, and I hope that resonates with all of you. But I have to admit, it is kind of frustrating to see Josh be right and not get his kudos in that sphere.

We love this community, but we also want to grow it with more like-minded people. We are doing our best to sell ourselves out there, and frankly just by the work we do every day, but we'd always appreciate if you tell our friends about us, post on social media, whatever. Nothing beats word of mouth, and we are just so damn proud of this place.

I know this has been a tough season, and that means not every day here is as fun as we want. But this should always feel like the local hangout, where we celebrate the good, and complain about the bad.
Cheers to this place! You guys are the best.
