Question on Corum’s weight by year…

Does anyone have his listed weights by year readily available? He’s not as fast as he was against Washington. But given what he is now asked to do between the tackles, he’s traded speed for size/durability. Clearly his power increase is notable given what he can do in short yardage and goal line. But I said even when Haskins was here that people were sleeping on Blake as a goal line back. Go back and watch early 2021 games and he was good then. (He didn’t just suddenly get good at it last year).

Dono, conversely, has not showed every down capability. He’s too upright in short yardage.

But to my original question, how much has Blake traded speed for weight, muscle (because he can lift 9000 lbs)

Just a few stats on this great Rutgers

...team we are about to get blown out by.

Rutgers 1st 3 games
NW
Averaging 100 yds/game with 184 of those against UTEP not exactly defensive machine.

Temple
They average 140 yds rushing a game. With 290 yds against Norfolk. Just a little skewed.

Va Tech
Averages 83 yds rushing yds per game. 129 yds against Rutgers....11 yds rushing against Purdue. Anpther over achieving rushing offense.

So there's a lot to be scared of vs this vaunted rushing defense. Might add Va Tech (who is TERRIBLE this year) actually outgained Rutgers and had 3 turn overs. Or that game couldvhave gone another direction.

So tell me again how Rutgers is going to beat Michigan?

Yes I know anything can happen but Michigan will be fired up and more than ready. They have their coach back. These young men love playing for Jim Harbaugh.

Chillax my friends. Its all good. Coach Harbaugh loves running it up on Rutgers.

Michigan Football / Recruiting Update

Spent the day with a VERY reliable source yesterday, different than my previous stated source for the Avery Gach Info. This guy has DEEP connections in the Detroit area.

@Josh Henschke, I am available for hire btw. ;)

Let’s begin.

Donovan Edwards: Michigan wants him back BADLY. This source says the early usage represents them trying to limit him and cap his stat line. I asked if fear of injury or anything could be the case, he said no. While it’s a huge hypothetical, if he keeps these types of performances he will be back next year. If he does what he did last year towards the end of the year, he’s as good as gone, regardless of natty or not. Donovan doesn’t care about NIL, he’s turned down numerous commercial opportunities, etc. Given one example, he said, “my teammates already did that, don’t care.” He thinks he’s the best in the nation and wants to get to the league ASAP… which doesn’t bode well for a possible return next year. The other week, he was rather upset w Hart and his usage, considering he was HC. An interesting thing to keep an eye on during the year. My guy said, “it’s not really an ego thing, or him being a bad teammate, he truly believes he’s the best.”

Bryce Underwood: Michigan, LSU, Colorado is his top 3. The source doesn’t seem confident AT ALL that he ends up at Michigan. He said the last trip the family took to Michigan, they sat in Harbaughs office and Coach Campbell did all the talking. Harbaugh sat in his chair and barely said a word. The family described Harbaugh and the experience as, “weird,” which isn’t all that surprising. He didn’t have much to say to my counter of, well he’s sporting the block M, visiting often, etc.. so that’s worth noting. He said Harbaugh and co want him very badly, but he expects a school to offer a number that Michigan can’t compete with. That’s just his prediction, but a credible one. Also mentioned he may be leaving the state to play at IMG next year.

More than welcome to disagree with anything here, I’m simply the messenger.

Dallas weekend update

Calling it a Make a Wishnweekend for mymfriend. Cancer has its grips on him pretty good. So whatever he wants we do.

My god we spent 12 hours and 11 minutes at a great sports bar called Side Car Social. What a cool place. I am not a drinker but football was everywhere. What a cool area. Frisco Texas. Walked through the Cowboys practice facilities with a friend's who got us in before hand. Wow it's amazing. Back at football for Lions vs Seahawks then to the Cowboys suite for a great time.

Michigan will be fine. Captain Comeback has returned. Go Lions and Go Blue.

Football 3 takeaways from Michigan's 31-6 win over Bowling Green

Michigan football overcame a sloppy first half to pull away from Bowling Green to wrap up the non-conference season.

Here are three takeaways from the game:

Recruiting Michigan offered 2026 ATH Jakob Weatherspoon today, some intel...

Form Avon, OH. I have to make a Rivals profile for him.

His first D1 offer came from Coach Clink. He was at the game this evening and walked away impressed with the atmosphere.

"I feel that the Wolverines will be in my top 2 at all times and I have a feeling they won’t be number two."
