I know 1 game doesnt give us enough to go by..

...but I'm warming up to Mullings being a BIG impact player at RB next year.

Long way to go this season but he is heading towards 6 to 10 carries a game as RB3 behind Edwards and Corum.

Please do not remotely try and bash Edwards. You would just be showing how little you know about football and injuries.

Edwards missed the WHOLE off season including fall camp without contact. He was a slow starter last year so please dont prove how stupid you are by saying he should be dropped from RB2. He is just starting to find his stride. Last 6 games he will show everyone who he is!

OT: MSU Stadium Seating

Quick question.....in all my years of going to Michigan football games, I have rarely stepped outside of the home confines. I am taking my wife and youngest son to the MSU game on the 21st against my best judgement. For those of you who have gone to games there, is there a seating area (section) that you would recommend that would be best for us to be with other UM alum and fans?

Tom Allen fired his OC (Walt Bell)

This looks like the beginning of the end for Tommy Boy. I'd be surprised if he makes it through the season. IU overreacted with giving him that big contract during the COVID year.

Insider Intel: Good news for one injured Wolverine

Did some asking around about what’s next for defensive lineman Mason Graham.

Today was a big day to determine what’s the next steps for him as far as his availability for Saturday.

Things are looking good and he plans to return to practice in a limited role and will ramp things up as the week progresses if allowed.

I can’t say for sure whether he will play Saturday because it’ll all be determined in practice but I get the sense if he can practice, he’s not going to want to sit out.

Will keep an ear to the ground

I'm having right shoulder replacement reverse surgery on Wednesday Sept.27

I would appreciate your positive thoughts and prayers. I have no cartilage left in my right shoulder after playing about 20 years of QB in youth leagues, high school and UM intramurals for eight years, high school baseball as a pitcher, catcher and third baseman and basketball in the the Lawyer's League in SF and LA.

Pass Defense

On the pass defense, there’s a stat floating around that Michigan has let its opponents throw for the same yards-per-attempt and efficiency as its opponents have to everyone else. That’s consistent with the eye test imo as we’ve been thrown on a bit for explosives.

Obviously it hasn’t mattered. But this concern lines up with pre season question marks around CB depth.

Are you guys concerned there? Why or why not? Will we learn more on Saturday?

Tyrone Wheatley's Wayne State Team...

For those that may not know, Tyrone Wheatley is the head coach at WSU, this Saturday WSU (D2) lost to NAIA Concordia 24-23. After the game, an irate parent of one of the WSU players attacked / confronted Wheatley as he, his team and staff were walking off the field. Apparently, WSU getting off to a 1-4 start with a loss to an NAIA team was all the parent could stand???

O-Line Starting 5

I thought the o-line turned in their best performance of the year against Nebraska. Is the prevailing feeling that Henderson will retain LT duties even after Hinton returns from injury? I haven't seen anything from the coaches saying so. It looked like Barnhart was more comfortable on the right side as well.

A heads up: Ad Lite free trial ends this week

For those who might’ve forgotten, Rivals gave every subscriber a trial run of Ad Lite on the site and message boards since early August.

I just wanted you all to know that the free trial run ends on October 5 and you will start to see ads again on the site and boards if you’re not signed up for the Ad Lite product or the Rivals All Access pass.

As far as the trial itself, you don’t have to do anything, it will simply expire and ads will start to reappear.

Users who want a virtually ad-free experience can purchase the Ad Lite add-on product for $2/mo or $20/year. Or, the Ad Lite product is part of the Rivals All Access add-on package, which is $45/yr for annual subscribers and $8/mo for monthly subscribers and includes read-only access to all message boards across the Rivals Network. What’s awesome is that we receive the majority of the funds from add-on sales so it’s also a great way to support us beyond your subscription dollars, which we are VERY grateful for!

You can add the features to your subscription in the subscription tab in your account page or through the link below:

Insider Quick note on Jim Harbaugh’s contract talks…

Have it on good authority that Santa Ono has made it very clear to Warde Manuel that he wants Jim Harbaugh to stick around and has encouraged him to get it done.

Ono has been telling people of his desire to keep Harbaugh and his communication with Manuel.

As far as where things are at, I don’t know right now but there is a push to get things done.
