27 months...

27 short months ago - the crystal ball of now would have felt like the hopelessly unrealistic dream of a 12 year old Michigan fan.

3 straight wins over OSU, 3 straight Big Ten titles and 3 straight playoff appearances. The undisputed number 1 team in college football on 12/4/2023. ESPNs FPI percentage wheel shows us as 56% likely to take down Nick Saban's SEC champ Alabama team. All that and we're coached by one of our own, the favorite son of the coaching legend who built the foundation he is standing on and expanding.

Michigan football life is good. Signgate stole from that (and I'll never forgive the opportunists for it), but now its only sweeter.

Enjoy December. Many college footballl fans go their entire lives without a stretch like this.

So here we go again...

....with the same old narratives.

1. Our oline sucks
.....ummm they were without Zinter our best olineman
....Nugent has been playing with a bum leg for damn near 2 months
....LDH was out for a week against Maryland and is still beat up.

2. JJ can't throw the ball.
....JJ hasn't been right since psu. He is pretty banged up.
....JJ didnt need to throw it and number if attempts is not on him...its on Moore and Harbaugh.

This team plays a very physical brand of football. They play a team on their senior night that had nothing to lose and JJ was beat up...the played 3 top 10 very physical defenses in the last 4 games. The are just beat up!

I'm sure people will still doubt this 13-0 team up until the Rose bowl and that's there right.

I'm kinda waiting for Daddy Lemon to show back

The game plans have been well thought out. This program is now 38-3 over the last 3 years. They have grown. They have been there. This team is different. 2021 was about the B1G. 2022 was a fluke. 2023 they won't allow flukes to happen.

Relax chicken Littles. The sky is far from falling.

GO BLUE!!!

Football In order to be the best...

You've got to beat the best. Say what you will about Bama and whether they deserve to be there but these last four teams in the mix are VERY good football teams. Yes, that includes Michigan.

FSU would've likely been the easiest road to the national championship but you still have to face another very good team at this time of year.

It shouldn't matter who Michigan plays right now. All that matters is winning. Michigan has proved it belongs by beating good teams along the way.

If you want to be crowned champs, you need to play your best. Play good football and go win the whole dang thing.

OT: Congratulations Jim Leyland

Voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame!

Leyland was the lone person elected to the Hall by the Contemporary Baseball Era Non-Players Committee on Sunday. The vote, which was held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center as part of MLB’s Winter Meetings and announced on MLB Network, was the result of a recently restructured ballot system in which manager, umpire and executive candidates are no longer lumped together with their player counterparts in the election cycle, thereby creating better opportunity for their induction.
