Feels like a changing of the guard….

Mission accomplished- program is on unprecedented solid ground…. With a dominant national title win.

With JJ and much of the senior/upperclassman leadership (rightfully) moving on, it feels like if Jim is EVER going to make the jump again it’s now…. And if he is ever going to make it this would be the time I would prefer he do it.

Give Sherrone the opportunity to build in his identity with a solid foundation that he helped set. This transition would be one of the few transitions in sports made on the team’s “own terms”. No doubt Jim will help set his protege up with good lieutenants on the way out.

I would prefer Jim stay another decade but if he’s ever leaving for the nfl and this song and dance is going to continue every off season…. Now is the time.

Insider Intel: Some good Sunday news for Michigan

Not all news has to be bad for Michigan today.

I am VERY confident that Donovan Edwards will be back with Michigan next season. NIL opportunities paid off literally and figuratively.

As I mentioned earlier in the week, it’s very likely that Edwards carries on with his business and doesn’t make any grand announcements about his future. He doesn’t want the attention.

OT: Cannot wait to watch First Take tomorrow…lol..

If Dallas can’t comeback from 17 pts down…which I seriously doubt they can, First Take should be amazing tomorrow and I can’t wait! I know a lot of you can’t stand Stephen A. Smith. But before he became the hot take king on ESPN, he spent 17 years as a columnist at The Philadelphia Inquirer covering the 76ers and other sports whom I read religiously. He was a great reporter and I will admit to liking him on First Take…especially when he goes after the Cowboys as their most savage troll..he literally was laughing himself to tears over pictures of Cowboys fans crying in the stands after they blew it against the 49ers..and I, as a committed Eagles fan (Lions will always be my first love), am here for all of the schadenfreude tomorrow on First Take about Dallas choking like Dallas always does..like “Chargering” but far worse, when you consider all the media hyping up the Cowboys as a SB contender year after year. Stephen A. made sure to stress that this is the best chance Dallas has had to win in 27 years, and if they go on to lose this game…look out! First Take will be 2 hours of roasting the Cowboys…pretty much heaven for me.

Insider Harbaugh check…

As of this morning, I spent time asking around about Jim Harbaugh, I fully believe that his desire is to stay at Michigan at the end of the day.

Now desire to stay and actually doing it are two different things. As of right now, I am unaware of any NFL teams that can be perceived as a threat at this time. This isn’t me saying that the worst is over, just nothing to share in that regard.

Both Warde Manuel and the crowd last night made it pretty clear that keeping Harbaugh around is a priority.

Insider Intel: On Rod Moore and Makari Paige decisions...

Not a whole lot to add here, as I don't have anything definitive either way.

One source is very connected to the players and the thought process is things are looking 'pretty good' right now to return next season. Their silence in regards to declaring is telling and the window is quickly approaching. It's not like they're risks to be portal candidates, either.

With that, if things come and go quietly, or they straight up announce that they are back, you'll have your answer.

Original Authentic Michigan Jerseys for sale - Sturgis Mi

If this isn't allowed, I apologize. I am in no way affiliated with the shop. I just left, got the Harbaugh and a Zinter jersey. They were originally commissioned to make special Rose Bowl Jerseys and ended up handling all of the jerseys for the next 25-30 years. These are extras that had never gotten a name or number in them. They're white away jerseys. Some were 30 years old so some can be a bit faded. You can get any name and number. They're hoping to have them finished by Friday. Cash only.
