Hopefully I'm not gonna post on this anymore

All of the coaches I have wanted to stay here are gone.
The idea of keeping staff continuity is gone.
The idea of getting and keeping recruiting momentum is gone.
Keeping the key players we have is on shaky ground.
Pulling in key needs from the portal is possible but not likely.

It is what it is, and none of it is in my control, so my mind is on to hoping for the best.

This has been a terrible off-season, and the character of these kids left behind will be tested.

The last hope is that we keep the kids we have, and they go out and prove many of us wrong.

I hope I'm done wringing my hands at what an inept AD and a coach who disregards his former program has done to my psyche this off-season.

I'm ready for some good news.
Go Blue!

It's Good News Wednesday. 2-7-24

My good news is our special needs son, who was supposed to have a life span of 17, turned 31 this week.

I give all the credit to my wife for the loving, joyful care she gives him.

He has been the most unexpected blessing. He doesn't talk, Walk, or eat on his own, and he is totally reliant on the people who love him for survival, yet he has a more robust and broader ministry than I will ever have.

It's just another lesson: God has a purpose for everyone and can use anyone if we let him.

What's your good news?

Go Blue!

Third base

No matter how many coaches leave for the NFL or players who may choose to transfer out. It will NEVER be as bad as having third base lead our program. It's an absolute clown show in C bus right now. Third-base OC only makes it a week. They are promising to pay all these players. Nobody really knows if they will ever even see the money. The house and lies are crumbling down in Columbus.

In regard to Colston Loveland

I know for a fact that Sherrone AND Grant Newsome had kept him informed of what was happening with the tight end job every step of the way. He was involved.

He knows that Steve Casula comes highly recommended and is very aware of the quality of person and coach he is.

Not saying that’s he’s staying for that reason alone but he is one guy I am not worried about right now.

Video Good Afternoon, Michigan Football; Faith in Moore

Former Wolverine Jim Scarcelli joins the show and says that Michigan fans should have some faith in Sherrone Moore. Scar looks at the who's coming and going on the staff and looks to what the Chargers are doing in the NFL.

Is it okay to be ticked at Jim yet?

Yes, ultimately, it was Elston's or any other coach's decision to leave, but Harbaugh putting the hard sell on these coaches and dismantling the program he supposedly loves so much is a hard pill to swallow.

He could have gone after many other coaches and let Moore get his feet under him. Let's face it: Jim is doing what's best for Jim, and I don't like it.

Gotta be real here …

I appreciate what Harbaugh did and he doesn’t owe UM anything but this has become a disaster of an off season. And if I’m being honest you could see it coming by the recruiting efforts this year including portal pursuit late . In reality I see this setting the program back a couple years at the least. I don’t post much and I’m not here to argue but that’s just how I feel about the situation.. I’m gonna sit back and root heavily for coach Moore and I hope you guys do the same .. Go Blue

Harlon Barnett to NW

Harlon Barnett, Michigan State's longtime defensive backs coach and 2023 interim head coach, has found a new job in the Big Ten Conference after being passed over for the Spartans' head coach opening in November.

According to a report from 247Sports' Matt Zenitz, Barnett has been hired by Northwestern as the Wildcats' new defensive backs coach. Zenitz report was collaborated by ESPN's Adam Rittenberg.
