It's another Michigan basketball game day! The Wolverines travel to Evanston to take on the Northwestern Wildcats.

Unfortunately for the Wolverines, they will be without Dug McDaniel, Olivier Nkamhoua and Will Tschetter tonight.

Tonight's game will air on FS1 at 9 p.m.

Are you f... serious. We all know his issues with drive thrus. Glad he got sober but he's hasn't coached or recruited in college since 2009. He knows the defense so what so do others. This would be an aweful hire and especially if this pushes Elston to the NFL. Spend some damn money and go after someone.

Confirmed he is on a leave of absence for personal reasons. Yes, he is still employed. No, I won’t be discussing what those reasons are nor will I come close to hinting at anything.

Honestly, I hope the only way the public ends up knowing is by Mike Hart doing it on his own terms. So I hope his privacy is respected.

He coached at romulus high school. I looked at his resume and he pretty much wins everywhere.

That whole playing that guy who aided a murder was odd to say the least, yet the nba didn't care.

I've read his buyout is 7 million.

He's a perfect 5-0 against northwestern.

He's had no issues in evanston with a 25 point victory and 17 point victory.

How much credit do we give Moore for the culture not only at U of M but more specifically with the offensive line room? Probably not enough. After doing a little research this morning ( yes, I'm bored af and need more football content ) I've discovered we have 18 guys currently on scholarship in our OL room. By my count at least, could be wrong. Moore has recruited all of them and only 1 guy has transferred out in the last 5 classes combined. That was Reese Atteberry just a couple weeks ago. That to me is remarkable especially when you consider all the transfers we brought into the room the past couple seasons. I included this years class as well just because of all the turnover I wouldn't have been surprised if one or more of the true freshman backed out.

I believe Moore will still play a heavy role in the OL room similar to Harbaugh with the QB's. I also believe Newsome will carry the torch and continue to cultivate a great competitive but tight OL room. With 7 seniors and redshirt seniors in the room this year Newsome still has a great core of returning veterans even though they don't necessarily have the playing time. Throw in 11 young bucks eager to earn playing time and the future looks very bright despite just losing all 6 of our top offensive linemen from last season

As we head into the offseason I wanted to take a pulse on what kind of things you would like to see. Spring camp is coming so we will have our usual position breakdowns, storylines, players to watch, breakout candidates, etc. We’ll also have NFL Draft primers ahead of the combine and plenty of mock draft updates and projections. I’ll be bringing back my Ranking series. With 4 new teams I’ll be ranking everything in the Big Ten like helmets, uniforms, stadiums, coaches.

With a new staff and so much roster turnover I wanted to see if there was anything else you will be looking for the next couple of months? Are there questions you have that you hope we can answer with content? Any ideas whether metric or narrative driven I’d love to hear your ideas.
