All time top five favorite announcers

1. George Kell -Grew up impersonating Kell on the play ground and never stopped.

2. Bruce Martin -Red Wings games on the radio made me dream of calling games.

3. Ernie Harwell -Tigers games on the radio in the yard or at a family gathering growing up was priceless.

4. Bob Ufer -My dad would put Ufer on in the car when I was five. He loved it when a call or something went against UM and Ufer would start complaining. Real time Ufer as is kid is an unforgettable experience.

5. George Blaha -Everyone playing basketball in my neighborhood had a favorite call.

“Three AND thirty remaining in the fourth, Pistons down a half dozen, Isiah holds the ball topside, now swings over to Joe D who backs down MJ, Dumars turns fires off the high glass - he hits it AND he is fouled! Count that baby and foul!”

Recruiting Michigan commit Eli Owens excited to build relationship with Steve Casula

I loved his comments about Grant Newsome, he is one of the main reasons why he felt comfortable to commit early.

So the more I think about it, if expectations can be set right, This fall should be a ball.

There is so much potentially fun and exciting about this fall.

The schedule is like nothing we've ever seen. We're getting a season with Texas, USC, Oregon and MSU at the big house. What??

Then you get the whole defending national champs thing coming in.

Then a defense returning a majority of those champs ready to absolutely dominante. Moore and Paige AGAIN are back making them the Carlos Huerta of safety duos (reference for old timers). Will Johnson arguably comes into his third year more accomplished than Woodson was. Then we've never rolled out an interior like Graham and Grant (throw Benny in too). Wow.

Offense is a massive wildcard but the prospect of Orji winning this job and us having one of the most unique offenses in the country tied to it is a lot of fun.

As long as I can Men In Black memory swipe myself of undefeated or bust expectations and hope for a 9-3 slip into the playoff (being pleasantly surprised by greater) it could be a riot this fall.

Recruiting 5 positions of need Michigan needs to focus its 2025 recruiting efforts on

Just a heads up, the names to watch don't necessarily mean that said player will end up in the class, it's just a general guideline of where things could go. Recruiting boards are always subjected to change.
