Since Stalions at CMU is back in the news

MSU wants answers. Understandable.
But here's the thing: this isn't a Michigan issue, and that's probably why the story disappeared.
Stalions wasn't at CMU because Michigan wanted him there to scout MSU. He was there because someone at CMU wanted him to help them against MSU.
Why CMU has not yet had to answer who that is, how Stalions got on the sideline, why he had official CMU gear, etc, I have no idea. But the truth is it's just more proof of Stalions "going rogue" and doing his own thing outside of Michigan's knowledge.
And, if you look at this act as just that, a single act, well the punishment for this would not be that severe, there is precedent. With Stalions already no longer employed there really isn't anything to do.
I am not sure if we will ever hear more from CMU, or if the NCAA will ever comment on it, but its an MSU and CMU problem, and that's why no one seems to care any more.

Recruiting 2025 four-star OL puts Michigan in top 4

From what I have been able to gather, it seems as if Penn State has a lead here to keep Carroll in the state of Pennsylvania. But a lot of work has had to be done to get the Nittany Lions to that point, so the Wolverines are not out of this recruitment by any means.

Obviously, OVs to PSU (June 14) and UM (June 21) will be huge.

Summary on House Vs. NCAA proposed settlement (medium long read)

Good read for those so inclined

I believe the vote in the NCAA is this week… My senses the NCAA wants to get this done otherwise they’re in so much jeopardy for losing multiple cases and having over $20 billion in damages 3 billion paid out over 10 years.

NIL Wolverine Boots, Valiant Brand, Champions Circle launch new apparel line

Wolverines Boots, Valiant Brand, and Michigan's NIL collective Champions Circle are partnering again to launch The Maize and Blue Collar apparel brand with shared revenue benefiting Michigan student-athletes.The online store is now open!

Great prognostication :)....

In searching for some email addresses of a couple board members this morning I stumbled into some brilliant sports analysis that I offered up on 2/3/21.

"I'll be pleasantly suprirsed if Moore proves to be a better offensive line coach than Funk...So I guess I'd better enjoy signing day especially as a passage of time till the Juwan freight train rolls again!!!"

A lifetime of closely (obsessively) following Michigan sports puts one in position to possess all that predictive capability. Ugh. Ha!!!!

Hopefully that's a bigger statement of how we never know for sure what's coming than it is of my processioning capabilities.....yowsers.

Recruiting...

.....after this great offseason of pulling some veteran depth out of the portal I look forward to a fantastic June with the way Michigan has closed some great portal players. This staff is really pulling it together.

Realocating NIL funds towards recruiting after doing an amazing job with retention is very impressive. Moore and company are killing it.

1 to 2 more coming from the portal soon.

Damn I'm excited about this team!

Fanatics Suing Maserati Marv

Sounds like he doesn’t want to honor the Fabatics contract because there are better deals being floated in front of him despite the signed contract from 2023.

Interesting to see if he becomes a head case

Blake Woodby?

Michigan has recruited St Francis well in the past, with players currently on the roster (D. Moore)...But there seems to be no mutual interest between Michigan and the #6 CB recruit nationally.
