SIAP - Ohio State drops UConn for Grambling State in 2025

Sorry if already posted but it should be noted that OSU announced they are dropping UConn from their 2025 football schedule to pick up Grambling State.

Their first game in 2025 is vs Texas, so perhaps they wanted an easier opponent on the schedule than Uconn.

Although it could be movement around the new B10 schedule since Grambling , a Football Championship Division team, will play on 9/6 and the UConn game was set for 9/20.

But it's more fun thinking the other way on this one.

Olympic swim in Indy

Amazing event. We went there Tuesday and Wednesday. Saw Katie Ledecky swim. Amazing. My 11 yr old daughter was in awe.

Stayed at the Marriott and was leaving today. Of course had to wear some Michigan gear. Yep I found me a Buckeye this morning. He was all mouthy in the lobby. I was ignoring it talking to a few other Michigan folks. My daughter who is 11 mind you walks up and hear this guy chirping. She says really loud to me "Hey dad do we have those kleenex for Buckeye tears"

My wife looks at me and says really you teach her this stuff? I was a proud Papa. Go Blue. #raisingafuturesavage

Recruiting Is Brady Hart the most important recruit of the Sherrone Moore era?

Obviously the Sherrone Moore era is in its infancy but it was a question that our Greg Smith asked in his latest Fact or Fiction piece. I say yes because we all know what can happen at Michigan with excellent QB play. What say you?

Bobby Kanka is also discussed below.

OT: Today is the 54th Anniversary of The greatest No Hitter in History…

happened In 1970, with the legendary Doc Ellis on the mound for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Hear Doc describe it on the link below. On a side note: I similarly had the best game I ever had playing goalkeeper in a match in a tournament championship game that ended up going to PKs. I played out of mind all game, and saved 3 out of 5 penalty kicks for the win. And when I said “out of my mind”, I meant that literally.

Check this out…hilarious.

Recruiting 2025 four-star Donovan Johnson breaks down Michigan visit

Michigan firmly in the mix here. Still think they would take Davison if he wants to commit but Johnson is next on the pecking order and I would not be shocked if he ended up in the class.

It's Good News Wednesday! 6-19-24

My good news is recruiting. I am sooooo pleased that recruiting is taking a foothold. The last few weeks have been filled with talented, quality kids joining the Michigan family. The future looks bright.

I hope it shuts up the doomsday crowd for at least a minute.

The Leesburg Lightning, a local baseball team, is playing in my area, and I'm excited to share that rising Michigan sophomore Colin Priest is part of their team this summer. I can't wait to watch him play next week. What's more, his girlfriend is the daughter of a friend of mine, so I'm looking forward to a possible introduction.

We had my nephew for a week and had a blast. He'll be a senior next year, so it was my last chance to spend quality time with him. He's a great kid.

What's your good news?

Go Blue!

OT: “Daddy Ball” at Colorado

Not a good look for Coach Prime

It will be fascinating to see how they do this year in his second full year.

Recruiting Hardy Watts is down to three, breaks down his options

Visits Michigan next week. Wisconsin wants him badly and Clemson is doing really well recruiting OL this cycle. I think a strong U-M visit puts them right there. Looking at a late June/early July timeline, which would help since U-M has the last visit.
