....to run into an old friend.

Just landed in Denver. Wife was craving a bagel 🥯 and we went to 2 places. While she was in line paying for her bagel I stepped out into the concourse. Low and behold along comes Caleb Houston with a couple of his Magic team mates. I gave him a big GO BLUE and he reciprocated.

He is not our old friend. A minute or so behind him came Jalen Suggs. Now that's my dawg. Worked with when he was 16 and 17 yrs old. Honestly I did one of the craziest things that I now do regularly to get him running and playing again.

Jaylen has ALWAYS been a great young man who has never forgot where he came from. Takes time for even old farts like me. We will get down to see him play again this winter!

The guys came to watch Deion's practice and just hang out in Colorado for a few days.

It's always a big thrill to see the young men I worked with from years gone by.

Curious about everyone's opinions here...

I'm looking for some quick info about building up my points so I get offered football season tickets for the 2025 season. Do I just donate to the Champions Fund or General Fund in order to build my points over time and eventually get an offer for season tickets? Or is there a different place I should be donating? The website doesn't draw a clear line between a donation vehicle and building points.

Been kind of a hectic weekend on a personal level but I always want to be transparent and don’t want to think I’m just sitting here twiddling my thumbs not doing anything.

Had a funeral today and then found out I had another death in the family today so it’s been pretty hectic here.

Will get back to full swing this week, fortunately the news has been cooperating and the dead period has kept things mostly quiet.

What are our thoughts on Brandyn Hillman’s role this season? I feel like he’s too good to keep off the field this season but with the safety room containing Makari Paige, Wesley Walker, Jaden Mangham, Zeke Berry, Quentin Johnson and maybe Rod Moore later in the season where would he fit in?

On my 43 anniversary of standing on those yellow footprints, I’d like to remind those that yearly the Veterans Administration (VA) turns in a ton of unused funding.

We’ve got quite a few new members and as many of y’all already know, I try to advocate daily on reaching those that either don’t know or aren’t sure if they deserve them.

The latter is an easy one…. If you’ve got a DD214 and an honorable discharge you do (there are other cases that you still may or can appeal)

Heck free glasses and hearing aids alone make it worth the time.

I promise I do not have all / many of the answers… but I (and many others in this site) will help get you in contact with someone who does.

Caught up with recently offered Craig Tutt at a 7-on-7 tournament this week. Michigan just offered him last month and he's planning to be on campus on July 27th. The three-star already has a handful of solid P4 offers on his resume.

Was asked in a previous thread about Derek Meadows and wanted to create a new thread as to not derail the other one.

I asked around and got a “not Michigan” as one response but I don’t have a clear reason why he pushed his commit date back a week.

Bama and LSU have made things interesting, Notre Dame also in the mix.

I’ll continue to do some digging but I don’t get the warm and fuzzies about this situation right now. We’ll see.

As you are currently seeing, and something that has been pointed out already, Rivals is going through a significant overhaul in a lot of facets when it comes to the brand and our sites.

Expect an announcement at 9 am from the Rivals account about new branding and a new look. The most significant update in Rivals history.

As for how this impacts you all, we will be having new home pages and the forum pages are starting to see some updates in the process.

With that being said, there are bound to be some glitches and bugs that happen once everything rolls out. I’m aware of the dark mode issue and have already passed it on.
