What are your most controversial predictions this year?

I have a few

I hope I'm right:
- Jaishawn Barham is an upgraded version of Junior Colson (no slight)
- Jyaire Hill establishes himself as the next great UM CB. He and Will will be a top 5 CB Duo this year
- Derrick Moore has double-digit sacks
- UM has the #1 PFF defense this year.
- We beat Ohio at OSU. Day blames his stubbed toe.

I hope I'm wrong:
- Orji struggles with accuracy in the first half of the year, and fans call for Davis Warren to start against USC. However, he improves in the second half of the season.
- Right Tackle becomes a revolving door and the weak link. Oline is still good overall, though.
- Donovan Edwards continues with vision issues and because he bulked up, doesn't have the same breakaway speed. (Asterisk - the run game is still strong, but Mullings and Edwards split carries)

Just for Fun:
- Will Howard get benched in favor of Julian Sayin before Nov. 30th due to poor performance in a loss to Oregon and a "should have been" loss at Penn State

Position Breakdown Offensive Line

Arguably, the most important position group for Michigan Football has some of the biggest questions.
Five new starters, two position battles, one new coach, and a group looking for depth and an identity.

Insider On Marsh and Sanders…

Did some asking around coming out of the big weekend.

I still feel good about where things stand for Marsh. My FutureCast pick has been on Andrew Marsh for a bit now and I don’t have plans to take it off. I know a decision is coming up and I’m working to confirm it.

As for Jayden Sanders, there is optimism for Michigan but there still isn’t any clear info one way or the other where this is headed. I can understand why U-M feels good, they check all the boxes. His announcement is August 10 so I will hope to have more leading up to it.

Recruiting Michigan among 2026 S Craig Tutt's contenders after debut visit

"They have great coaches, they have a great program, and I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing more about it."

2026 DB Craig Tutt details his debut visit to Michigan this past weekend, his relationship with DBs coach Lamar Morgan, future visit plans to Ann Arbor, and more:

Fall Position Breakdown: Safety

REMINDER: ALL BREAKDOWNS, CAMP INTEL, AND MORE CAN BE FOUND IN THE FALL CAMP KICKOFF HUB LOCATED ON THE HOMEPAGE AND IN THE STICKY THREADS.

The Rod Moore injury weakened the safety room, but a strong spring transfer portal window has loaded Michigan's safety room.
Experience, talent, and breakout potential. This is a talented group on an elite defense.

Michigan in the mix for elite kicker in 2025 class

2025 Kicker/Punter Scott Starzyk committed to Iowa a couple weeks back.
Kohls has him a five star and the #1 kicker and #4 punter in this class.
Here's the original article from when he committed to Iowa from our partners over at Hawkeye Beacon.

Scott posted about his Michigan offer today.

Elliot from Hawkeye Beacon reached out to Scott and while he said he is still currently committed to Iowa, it appears the Michigan side has made things "interesting."

Michigan added Dominic Zvada in the transfer portal this season, and we haven't heard much about the development of Adam Samaha. Not surprising to see Michigan looking to add kicking talent in this class.

Insider Compiled a what we’re hearing post on the NCAA investigation

Made it free to cut through some of the crap out there.

None of this should be new news if you’re paying attention here. Perhaps the confusion as far as Stalions’ charges might be newish but doesn’t change much in regards to Michigan.

Football Michigan looking for more depth on OL in fall camp

In 2024, Michigan will have five new starters on the offensive line, and the coaches are looking for more depth.
"We need guys to step up. That's just the reality of it."
