josh pate video re UM/ncaa leaks

if you watch josh pate, he's a fairly straight shooter as far as sports reporters..put out his sunday night youtube video 2 hours ago..good piece on UM and this latest leak...for a national guy, he's the first i've seen today to actually do his own research as opposed to just seconding thamel's leaks..very good take on the ncaa leaks and how they seem to think it's still the 1990's as far as their role...worth a quick watch..

28 days to Michigan Football: Benjamin Hall breakout season incoming?

Last year, a foot injury stalled what many thought was going to be Benjamin Hall's breakout freshman campaign.
Now healthy, Hall is once again in the RB3 conversation and poised for his breakout season.

Something I want to stress

That this is a DRAFT that was leaked to the media. Not the final version of the NOA.

That leaves the door open for things to be added or removed, though things being removed seem much more likely considering the context of the first draft.

We have no clue when the actual NOA will be delivered or whether that will be the final version U-M receives.

As for whether this impacts this season, it’s really tough to say considering timing. I find it hard to believe that anything happens in 2024 considering we’re already in August and U-M has 90 days to respond to the NOA once it receives it, we’ll already be on the cusp of 2025 at that point.

Not to mention hearings and all that stuff. It could be until 2025, to be realistic. Unless U-M does something to appease the NCAA, which there is zero indication that is going to happen, it all depends on the timing of the NOA.

This isn’t something that the athletic department is surprised about, they had this knowledge about all of it, Sherrone Moore included. So it’s not like they’re blindsided about deleted texts and the like. Elevating Sherrone to head coach shows trust, no?

Anyway, I know there is some concern that this impacts this season, I cannot rule it out but I would be very surprised if anything happens this season before an NOA is received.

Fall Position Breakdown Cornerback

Will Johnson leads the Michigan Football cornerback room. The Wolverines need two new starters alongside him, but one player is standing out early, and two players could be used to replace Mike Sainristil at nickel.

NOA

When Michigan acquiesced to the Big10 and the other member institutions in their quest for vengeance last year that signaled to the NCAA that Michigan was on a island alone without conference support. This just shows what poor leadership is not only in the Big10 conference HQ but in my opinion at Michigan

I think this won't end without moore getting suspended

It's clear that moore isn't gonna get a pass for not being named Harbaugh.

He didn't do anything. Neither did Harbaugh.

If you can offer Arkansas State and a big fine, take it and end this.

Carrying this on another year is stupid. We aren't gonna get off with nothing.

Otherwise, I don't think the leaks are gonna stop until they ensure we lose to texas.

They are gonna do this all year to try and get us to be 8-4.

Just take the punishment and get this nonsense to stop.

So I’m behind on my Michigan boogeyman reading. Help me out

At one point the popular made for clicks Michigan boogeyman chronicles had a story line going whereby a guy named Stapleton is a friend of Warde, a big Michigan supporter (although not big enough to prevent him from trying to derail a national championship) a HUGE Harbaugh hater and does some sort of work with (or is on) NCAA committee on infractions. Am I remembering that right?

A prominent local best selling author at one point, it I recall, even told us that he was the source of last years NCAA leaks. His disdain for Harbaugh was supposedly the driving factor. He also allegedly prevented Jim from getting the Vikings job due to his role as a minority owner of the Vikings as well (if I remember my Michigan boogeyman reading correctly - fellow followers of this fan fiction feel free to correct me if I’m missing anything).

Now that Jim is gone and we still have leaks - is there concern that our boogeyman and Sherrone don’t get along…or…maybe he and his alleged good friend Warde had a falling out?

Somebody bring me up to speed on the status of the Michigan boogeyman chronicles - should I be concerned???

😊

Insider INTEL: NOA Draft in ESPN report is "old", not what Michigan currently has

According to three sources I have spoken with, the draft of the Notice of Allegations featured in the ESPN report appears to be a "really old version."
Michigan is working from a "different version." I can not confirm whether this means Michigan has received the NOA, or has an updated draft.
According to one source, the mood continues to be similar to Josh's earlier reporting: "Michigan is unbothered."

I will provide any other details I can gather.

NOA draft focues on non-compliance and recruiting violations

An ESPN report on the NOA draft for Michigan.
Conor Stalions scheme is detailed, and his presence at CMU vs MSU confirmed.
The draft includes Level I violations for non-compliance and recruiting actions for Sherrone Moore and five former staffers.
