What’s the status?

I’m sorry I’m sorry, I know we don’t want to discuss this anymore. Just curious if anyone has any idea WHY the NOA was extended and also what the current status is?

I know no hammer is coming etc but it just felt like this thing was extended randomly, it’s been longer than 30 days… idk.

Do we have any idea what’s happening?

Question for the board - need advice

Need some advice from you all because I’m a bit torn on how to handle something.

Yesterday we were at a showcase for my daughter’s team that had area highschools as well as UM, MSU, and OSU performing. One of the coaches from a local highschool (not ours) was clearly drunk. At past events this person would be locked in and all business, but yesterday she was acting erratic, slurring words, stumbling, and drinking out of a solo cup the whole time. Other parents from other teams were noticing and talking about it too.

Do I let this go because it’s not the school my daughter goes to or do I reach out to that school’s AD and raise my concern?

More random thoughts cuz...

....Im ...well ...Random....and weird and probably on the spectrum.

Not upset about osu winning the NC. I'm not an osu fan but they are in the B1G and ND is NOT in any conference amd played cupcake after cupcake this year. This puts me in the minority but I really don't care what people think. It's an honest assessment. osu is the better team and had a MUCH tougher road than ND.

I will state this again. With a serviceable QB like even Mike Keene we make the playoff. Just the threat of the pass would have opened up some rushing lanes. A few timely pass completetions a game and we sustain drives. At the very worst we go 10-2...11-1 a more likely outcome. We beat uw...indy and ill....and there's no debate!

Does anyone find the Dicks.com commercials a little weird when they say "go to Dicks.com". My wife does!

People need to chill out about the oline in the fall and the depth. I need to remind people Persi was going to start in the bowl at LT. Now if he returns for year 5 he will have to win the job in Spring ball. I don't see that as a problem. That means the starting 5 will be LT Persi...LG Hatten...C Crip ...RG Gio...RT Link/Sprague. Yall chillax over Link he only gave up 3 pressures against osu and Bama total. If Sprague beats out link so be it. Add Connor Jones to the 2 deep at tackle. Jake G. will push Crip at center. Frazier and Hamilton will be in the 2 deep plus Efobi.

If you haven't read @Trevor McCue article on Justice Haynes you're missing a GREAT read! We are going to great running the ball again in the fall.

Speaking of the offense. Many are going to get their panties in a bunch because we will not be the pass happy offense they want. Running the ball and playing great D got us to 40-3 over 3 years plus 3 B1G titles 3 CFPs and a NATTY...add in beating osu and Bama with zero passing attack... you can bet your ass we WILL pound the rock.

We will not suffer in recruiting because we don't throw the ball all over the field. Will we throw it more? Yes! That said people think somehow a balanced offense means 30 passes and 30 rushes a game. Im gonna guess we are still at least 55% run vs pass. Will be go down field more? Yes. Balance will come in the form of 200 yds rushing and 200 yds passing...180 yds rushing and 270 yds passing but probably 35 to 45 rushes a game and 25 to 30 passes a game. Sherrone will not let Lindsay get away from his bread and butter which is bully ball wearing teams down to where they quit in the 4th qtr.

It's tough throwing the ball in Nov.

The WR room is better than it's been in quite some time...my count right now is 11 WRs...Im intrigued with Browder as I am with Marsh. McCulley...Fred.. Semaj will probably be front runners to start. I'm curious about Oleary...he kinda asked for more than what he's worth but he is returning so he got enough.

We are deep as hell on dline now...I love it...LB is strong secondary will figure out CB2.

Love Wink!!! So glad nobody in Schembechler listens to the fan base at any time during the season let alone at the beginning.

My wife is good cook but hates to cook. I am a very good cook and do 90% of the cooking. That said we eat out a lot. Lunch every day. We are old!

I am now a great great uncle for the 4th time. More proof I'm old.

My wife is perfect...for me!

I guess that's enough for now. Love this site. @Josh Henschke is amazing. Trevor and company are amazing.

Mount Rushmore of Hate

Made an off-hand comment in the Pistons thread, but it got me thinking, who would you put on your Mt. Rushmore of most hated sports figures? Can be collegiate or professional, players or coaches/admin.

I think mine would be:
Urban Meyer
Draymond Green
Claude Lemiuex
Tony Petitti

Honorable Mentions:
Sandusky/Paterno Combo
Tom Izzo
AJ Pierzynski
Brett Favre

This makes me appreciate the 2023-2024 championship even more!!

As a devout Christian, I find it disingenuous that OSU has the nerve to say they’ve overcome adversity and say God’s name when in reality, they outside of Henderson and a few others, are the biggest hypocrites I’ve ever soon. Their behavior on 11/27 was ungodly, as was Sawyer. Not to mention, this fraud head coach lead a witch hunt to derail our national championship, on bogus charges.

In addition, our entire team had a Christ like awakening a year ago. The Big Ten and a couple of petty coaches tried to stop our national championship but we still won and overcame adversity. Not to mention, we went 15-0. We were the last great team.

In addition, we dominated our opponents.

They are trying to act like put championship doesn’t exist but it was validated by the NCAA. Mission is finished.

I think our Championship team will be far more appreciated 10 years from now. When everyone is out of their petty feelings and will see just how special that team was.

Sounds familiar? Yep just like the Bad Boy pistons when it took over 20 years for that team to be fully appreciated outside of Detroit.
