Looks like another NIL platform will be partnering with Michigan soon.

I spoke with former U-M player Gabe Newburg this week and it appears that the company he is working with, nXlvl, is working on something called The Block with Michigan.

It's not a club or a collective but something completely brand new and unique, according to Newburg.

From the samples Newburg provided, it looks like a visual resume that athletes can use. This is only the first piece of the puzzle for The Block and it hasn't been fully released to the world yet. Currently waiting on a press release to share.

I know this is a standard practice and that we have and continue to do the same.

The targeting call on McCarthy was deemed INCORRECT.

The call on the first TD was INCORRECT. (Think we all saw that and knew it was the wrong call).

We had 12 guys on the field on a play where a catch was reviewed to a no catch.

For that last one, I think the refs self corrected on that. They are supposed to hold the snap until we substitute and didn't. So they corrected their mistake by not calling 12 men on the field (my opinion).

The ecu coach was apparently whiny about all the bad calls. He concedes they didn't impact the game, but said they had a bunch of bad calls.

He conveniently did not mention his player kicking the ball after the punt (that put us at the one yard line) which was a blatant missed call.

I like the Lions to win the division for the first time in 30 years. I last picked them to win the North in 2015.

Because KC puts such an emphasis on the preseason they will be primed at kickoff. I can see it taking a half before Detroit finds it mojo.

I really enjoyed it. The setting in Italy was absolutely beautiful. Antoine Fuqua is one of my favorite directors (Training Day, Olympus Has Fallen, Tears of the Sun). If this is the last installment, then it's a fitting ending.

Also, holy smokes does this movie have a ton of violence and gore...not for the faint of heart. El oh el. Anyone see it?

Last year I asked you to please put out a weekly info spot on ways to receive the game, and typical of you….you deliver in an excellent manner. Previously, it seemed almost a weekly mystery of “How do we find Waldo, er….our Wolverines.

Oh, and btw, I am loving ‘You Tube TV’ as it offers (when THEY can get it) the 4K option. FOX, NBC and ESPN are the standard-bearers. CBS and ABC…never.

First, thank you again for all of the positive feedback for the Stock Report feature. I have a vision in my head of what I want this piece to be, it's not quite there but it gets closer every week. All of your suggestions, positive or critical, help make it better. As with everything we do here, I want it to be a community focused feature.

@Anison made a suggestion that I put the Stock Reports in the sticky threads because he had not seen earlier in the week. So, FYI, I will be doing that. One thread for offense and one for defense. Each week I will drop the previous one and add the new thread. My goal is to always have the articles drop on Mondays. I usually do offense first so that tends to be earlier in the day with the defense coming later in the afternoon.

Never tell anyone how to spend their money but if your a fan of the school can't you contribute $10 a month at least. Was told Harbaugh recently tried to raise $7m and came up way short from big donors. Times are tough for some but overall how big this fan base is we can make a huge difference. Just a thought hopefully we can all make it work for our individual budgets. I want the train to roll. Yes I contribute monthly because I want to part of our success moving forward. If you don't contribute then we may miss on guys we want.
