UM Self-imposed Three Game Suspension

Could UM Athletic Department/Warde Manuel and NCAA have worked out a tacit agreement between themselves regarding the football "recruiting irregularities?"
Less embarrassing for NCAA regarding their total stupidity in this example of incompetence from their standpoint, and UM accepting a nonharmful Harbaugh sit-out for three weak opponent games?
I'm not a conspiracy person by any stretch of the imagination, but if this is this is the end of what we hear about this particular NCAA faux pas, I guess it would be the best solution for all involved.

B1G East Circular Firing Squad

I was wondering: what happens if the home team wins all 3 of...

PSU @ OSU
MICH @ PSU
OSU @ MICH

The tiebreaker, if this happened and all were 11-1, is that it would come down to the combined record of each of the three teams' B1G West opponents.

PSU will be the worst on this one, as their crossovers are Northwestern, Illinois and Iowa.

Michigan and OSU both play both Minnesota and Purdue.

So in this instance, the tiebreaker between Michigan and Ohio State would literally come down to who has a better record between Nebraska and Wisconsin.

We would lose the trip to Indy based on that.

And if a second B1G team were to still make the Playoff, it would be PSU, not us, since they will have beaten us.

We REALLY need to go into Happy Valley and win, because the above scenario is not farfetched at all.

Insider On Zeke Berry..

Obviously been playing when the initial reaction to his injury that he’d likely won’t be back until bowl practices or even beyond that.

When it comes to soft tissue stuff, you just never know how things are going to react and heal during the process, Zeke was on the lucky side to not be as bad as initially thought after a few days to heal up.

The way it was explained to me that his injury was significant, “shredded” was the word used (not literally, just a figurative saying). Perhaps a little reactionary and not seeing what happened when things heal up.

Not sure what his role looks like moving down the line but the fact that he’s at least making the trip and getting some run is a good thing. I don’t know if it’ll be a nagging thing but it will likely be checked again at the end of the year.

We saw what this offense can do with enough plays

Talked about this in Stock Report this week, Michigan has been crazy efficient on offense this year, best points per possession in the country. Just not a lot of plays.

Today, Michigan ran 74 offensive plays for 436 total yards and a TOP of 38:01. That's 1.95 plays per minute.
The Wolverines had 9 possessions. 6 TDs, 1 FG, one punt and 1 end of game. That's 5.0 points per possession.
