...everyone was very critical of Michigan right after tHe B1G Championship game. What's wrong with the offense. Michigan didn't play anyone etc.

So I decided to look at bama's schedule. Who did they really play?

They only play 8 conference games...they lost at home by 10 to Texas and the game wasn't as close as the score.

So bamas other 3 nc games were USF...MTSU...and UT Chatt...USF was their toughest game and they went 7-5....in a,WEAK conference.

Look at bama's last few games...OK they beat Georgia....they need a PRAYER to beat auburn.... Bama played UT Chattanooga the week prior...before Miss St. Of course their offense got better.....look who they played.

Michigan started with ecu 2-10....UNLV 9-4....BGSU 7-5 who beat Ga. Tech who played Georgia tough.

Last 4 games for Michigan...#5 psu on the road...Maryland on the road on their senior day after a tough psu game....#2 osu at home...#15 Iowa...Michigan played the #2 #3 #4 defenses in 3 of their last 4 games. 4 incredibly physical games and won all 4 relatively comfortably.

People are still waiting for the Michigan of old to show up where they fold down the stretch. Those days are gone. They pounded teams into submission. 8 minute drives to close games. Rushed it 32 straight times...BECAUSE THEY COULD! Picked off osu when they were suppose to. They played Iowa exactly how they needed to. Make no mistakes and get away with a win.

Now they prep for Bama. Michigan is the MUCH better team. I'm glad the pundits are down on Michigan. It just increases that BIG chip on their shoulder. Last year they took tcu to lightly. This is Bama...they will be ready.

The team had the entire last week off to do whatever they please, rest and recharge after a job well done in the regular season.

The first official practice of CFP preparation begins today.

Before Crisler was renovated a contingent went to Charlottesville to look at John Paul Jones Arena on the UVA campus. It is quite a facility which can house many types of events. Along with complete training facilities for both men's & women's basketball.

I am willing to bet there were many conversations between visitors regarding the B1G, Academics and the B1G Academic Alliance and more. Schools are always conversing, especially when a school wishes to see their research academia grow. Will be interesting as more emerges in the future.

Cliff notes version...

An altercation between Juwan Howard and as assistant occurred on Thursday that DID NOT get physical. Juwan Howard is not stepping down as head coach nor is he being fired.

I’m told that any review process when it comes to incidents isn’t uncommon, such as the one that happened between Juwan Howard and Jon Sanderson.

The university itself conducts the review and its standard policy for the university itself to go through that review process and for it to be done outside of the athletic department via the ECRT policy (Equity, Civil Right & Title IX).

Both sides will be asked questions about the event and go from there.

As for any expectation of punishment, I can’t answer that factually. What I can say is that the opinion of those I speak to aren’t concerned and all of this is standard procedure.

I’ll dig more and share if/when I have it.

Got a note from my boss this morning that we had the best page view month of our tenure in November.

Obviously, scandal helps fuels clicks elsewhere but the community we’re building here is our foundation and everything we continue to do starts here.
