19 games into the season and a team batting average of .218. What is happening? There are several high-level recruits. What can turn the offense around??? Going through some historically tough times for UM softball.

Despite what Jay Smith said in the preseason, Tray Jackson doesn't have another year of eligibility. Not sure what they were doing regarding that and why they thought he did.

Jackson and Nkahmoua aren't in the senior day stuff. I know they graduated from other schools, but this is kinda weird.

Burnett undecided on future. Two years of eligibility.

I have good reason to believe without revealing why that Santa has concerns about bball and athletic department, but not sure he is decisive enough to act. He is an engineer who is very bright. M baseball (4-6) beat both USC & UCLA this past week in baseball.

Mitch Voit went the distance in a 4-3 win on Friday vs UCLA while Chase Allen went 6 in the 8-5 win over USC on Wednesday.
That said, neither UCLA (5-4) or USC (2-6) are powerhouses they once were.

also played #2 Arkansas tough losing 4-3 last Sunday. Take what you want from these early games.

For those wondering, Clemson is 7-1 and some former M players/recruits are starting or performing ok. Guys like Jimmy Obertop (.360), Nolan Nawrocki (.364), Jack Crighton (.333), and Jarren Purify (.375).
