Healthy Living 2025

OK, this year I'm serious. The last 5 years, I was just joking. 2025 sounds like a nice round half century number to really commit to changes.

Give your healthy eating, exercising, and general healthy living tips.

I'm going to try to cut out sugar & artificial sweeteners. Focus on drinking water, sparkling water, coffee & tea. Less carbs.

Everybody still into intermittent fasting? Or do we have new data that says it causes heart attacks & falling off cliffs?

2025. LFG!!!!

This CFP was designed for the Power 5, and it's a mess.

Conference Champs getting auto-bids but not auto-byes is the answer, but if you went back to the original seeding now you'd get;
1. Oregon vs 12 Arizona State (Rose Bowl)
2. Georgia vs 9 Boise State (Peach Bowl)
3. Texas vs 6 Ohio State (Sugar Bowl)
4. Penn State vs 5 Notre Dame (Fiesta Bowl)
Instead the 1 and 2 seed are playing tougher matchups than the 3 and 4 seed.

The next round includes 1 vs 6, 2 vs 5, 3 vs 12, and 6 vs 9.
This was designed for the Power 5 that existed before the recent expansion, but not seeing this coming is a failure.
We would have had a Pac-12 champ Oregon, SEC Georgia, Big 12 Texas, Big 10 Penn State/OSU, ACC Clemson/Miami, G5 Boise, and six at-large teams.

Changes are coming in 2026, and those, too, might be outdated by then. They need to fix this now for 2025.

Dequan Finn??

What’s the scoop on Finn? He had tremendous success at Toledo, including a conference championship and several conference and game MVP honors. In three seasons Finn has passed for 7,377 yards, 66 TDs and a 143.9 QB rating. He added another 1,927 yards and 27 TDs rushing.

After transferring to Baylor he suffered a season-ending injury in his third game, then applied for and was granted a medical redshirt year. Now he’s back in the Portal a second time.

He’s a Detroit kid (King HS). What’s missing from this story?
