Recruiting Willie Fletcher Jr recaps Michigan visit, "still #1 on my list".

2025 EDGE Willie Fletcher Jr. is starting to get popular on the recruiting trail after recent offers from Penn State, Tennessee, and others. After a return trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan still sits in a great spot with the Detroit pass rusher.

How the Mighty Have Fallen

OSU may have won, but the narrative today is hilarious. Ryan Day claiming that the toughness narrative “dies today” because of that win.

Why? Because you won a 17-14 game? Because you won on a 1 yard run against 10 defenders? What in gods name was “toughness” in yesterdays game?

It’s a good thing. It shows how mentally weak they are. Can’t wait for this years game.

Speaking of running QB's

Nebraska starting QB Henny Haarberg has run for over 250 yards the last two weeks on 40 carries. A mixture of scrambles and called runs. The Cornhusker offense is QB centric and outside that not very threatening. But this week's focus in the practice will assignment football on the QB. He also throws side arm so having lineman get their hands up will also be emphasized.

Recruiting Intel: Recruiting notes post-Rutgers

Not a huge recruiting weekend by any means, the guest list was filled with a lot of '25 and '26 visitors, with '24 commits like Jake Guarnera in attendance as well.

Here's what we've gathered.

- 2025 LB Weston Port continues to view Michigan highly, I continue to believe that they have a great shot. He had a multi-day unofficial visit which included his first opportunity to catch a game at Michigan Stadium. He also spent time with Coach Partridge and Coach Herb today before departing back home. Will have more with him soon.

- Michigan dipped into the offer pool for the 2026 class as the program offered OL Gregory Patrick from Portage, MI. He will be a national recruit, and already has an offer from Oklahoma. I expect Michigan to be a major factor moving forward.

Insider Note from last week...

I wanted to hold onto this depending on what the game looked like but I was told that Harbaugh was NOT happy with practices last week. It sounds like Wednesday's practice was not good and Harbaugh wasn't pleased, to say the least.

Sounds like things were corrected, especially with how the game turned out. Sometimes you need a good old-fashioned ass-chewing to get things back on track lol
