Thumbs up-DJ, halftime, Victor

While the weather didn’t really deteriorate til the second half, with the game starting flat, some rain and the empty spots in the crowd I give credit to DJ Truth and Victor the frisbee dog to keeping the crowd going and a fun atmosphere during all the long Fox commercials, etc. I’m sure some of you didn’t like some of the music played (I’m 66 and I pretty much liked it all) but I thought there was a variety that would appeal to all ages and it was fun to look around the stadium and see people dancing and singing instead of moping in the rain. I think it was the best playlist at the Big House maybe ever. And if you don’t like the piped in music, the halftime shows and the band’s on field performance and formations especially for the most part have really improved this year (and I am usually a band critic). The halftime show was really fun today. And who doesn’t love Victor the frisbee dog???

Football Harbaugh praises assistants for team success, development of young players

After Michigan's 52-7 win over Indiana, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh praised all of his assistants for their roles in helping develop young players like Keon Sabb, Colston Loveland, Semaj Morgan and Ben Hall, who all made plays to help the Wolverines beat the Hoosiers.

"It's master class what our coaches are doing."

The Kids Are Alright.

Interesting stuff from today's game:

The leading rusher by yardage and yardage per carry, the leading WR by yards and the team leader in catches, and 1st and 2nd overall in receiving yards were all players from the 2022 : Colston Loveland (80 yards receiving), Tyler Morris (4 receptions and 54 yards receiving), and 2023: Benji Hall (9 carries for 58 yards, 6.8 YPC) classes. Two true freshmen WRs scored TDs today.

In addition, Morris had our first big punt return; One true freshman, Semaj Morgan had IMO, the "eye popping play of the game" where he juked one player and plowed over another player over the 7 yards covering his one TD catch. A 2nd true freshman, Karmello English scored his first career TD catch on a 4-yard toss from Jack Tuttle, who has played very well the last two weeks.

The thing I really enjoyed about this game is how J.J. spread the ball around to young targets like Morris and trusted Morgan in the red zone. Hall put on basically the same performance we would've expected from Khalel. Hope Kahlel gets well and back soon, but man, it's good to see players like Morris, Morgan, and Benji Hall emerging to join Colton as possible young emerging stars on the offensive side of the ball...I have a feeling our RB and receiver depth will soon be looked at similarly to our line depth on both sides.

Betting help please

I have stubbornly been increasing my bet every week on an Edwards TD. They had many chances to give him one last week, and it's almost like they don't want him to get one. I find it absurd that twice last week on the goal line JJ ran them in (one using Edwards as a fake). I'm ready to back up the truck tomorrow, but now the betting line is scaring me ...it's the lowest he's been all season (only -126). And Mullings who I had at +330 last week is down to only +170!! Any word on reps in practice this week?
Thanks!
