Big ten coaches agree with sec coaches.

All you need to know. Big ten coaches say michigan will lose and sec coaches agree. Big ten coaches have spent three years getting their ass kicked by michigan but make them feel better by saying we cheated and then allow
Their petty jealousy to root against a fellow big ten team vs alabama. Disgusting. But not surprising

OT: Texas vs Washington

While most are anticipating a defensive slugfest in UM vs Bama game this one has the potential of a 60/70 point total or beyond.

Really interesting matchup when Washington has the ball as Texas has two of the best interior DTs in CFB but their secondary is a concern and their biggest weakness - which happens to be going against Washington's biggest strength in their WR core.

Be curious to see if Xavier Worhy can get back to 100% as Texas relies a ton on him on Offense.

Both are really great teams but kind of hoping Washington can pull the upset here

Barrett says scheme and depth make Michigan defense elite vs Bama

Michigan linebacker Michael Barrett has seen it all in his time in Ann Arbor, and was a member of the Wolverines that lost to Alabama in the 2020 Citrus Bowl.
This time around, Barrett believes Michigan's scheme and depth are built for this big game.

SIAP: true story Alabama OL

Elijah pritchett has been arrested for knowingly transmitting an STD. Dear God, how could he do this to his own sister!?! She's practically family fergodsakes!!!

Edit: We don't KNOW it was his sister for sure. It could have been another family member 😂

To be fair, we don't even know that it was a human. Could have been a sheep. Or it could be the case that it was a human to sheep back to sheep owner situation. "If anybody's going to have sex with my sheep it's going to be me" quote from farmer Jethro. Okay, I'll quit being an offensive joke fiend...

Rose Bowl Travel Suggestions

Flying to LAX day of the game, land 930ish and flying out at 11:59. Anyone have any tips or tricks getting to or from the Rose Bowl?

This will be our first time going.

Looking on the innernets seems like Uber/Lyft is slightly crazy due to traffic in downtown LA and Parade traffic but public trans might be the way to go? flyaway to A line?

Josh: Harbaugh contract Q

I was half expecting to hear the contract extension to be done last week. If there is no announcement this week I suspect one of two things is going on:
1) Harbaugh would like to see how the season plays out and may want to pursue NFL opportunities
2) Stapleton is implying harsh NCAA penalties should a new contract is signed (prior to the NCAA issues being resolved).

There has been total silence on the NCAA infractions (perhaps a good sign that they are negotiating).

Can you/did you ask 1) if this is being held up by Harbaugh wanting to see how the season plays out or 2) if the Stapleton interference is related to NCAA concerns. (And can you share the answer ;))

Both fall into what we have been hearing: patience, let it play out.

Early NSD is done...

....what a great class. Still not done. We will sign Bair. Michigan is 12th with a 2 star. Add in Bair and they can move to #10.

Getting Jaimison Barham is like adding a 5 star. Stout is another big get when he signs. Barham is a guaranteed starter talent not so sure about Stout but at the very least he adds experienced depth.

Now on to tye ROSE Bowl.

GO BLUE

MICHIGAN WINS

So here we are on Signing Day and no contract signed. Kudos to Jim.

He managed to get us to 13-0 (despite massive hurdles) keep a decent recruiting class in tact, get himself and his staff a GREAT extension package all but signed which among other things allows him to name his successor AND he gets to get to January to entertain all NFL offers coming his way.

Along the way any "delays" were pawned off as being the result of an incompetent Athletic Director or a nefarious villian named Stapelton. Removing attention from the fact that he may desire to be in the NFL more than he is here.

Masterful job of navigating a tricky situation.

And let me be clear here - more power to Jim. He deserves this and should play his hand to his maximum benefit. I hope all his dreams come true whatever they are. The 9 years he's given us (more than TWICE his tenure anywhere else) have been wonderful. Would love more if he wants to give them, but will move on just a big of fan of his going forward if he doesn't.

But, all y'all that got hung up blaming one of our own for this contract not being signed or worse some dude named Stapleton. SMH. You got played IMO.

I'm sure our guy knew all along the position Jim preferred to be in. And he also knows Jim's decision isn't going to be based on money. So Jim, despite an open investigation appears to have an offer on the table to make him the highest paid big ten coach, one of the few highest paid coaches in the country and massive raises for his staff.

The Michigan side played this well.

Now we wait for Jim's choice (or to see if he has good NFL opportunities).

Is this Lee Aaliya thing ever getting resolved?

They have looked into his contract (whether it is pro or amateur) for 4 months now.

And the Winter semester is going to begin soon.

Is this kid really going to wait a year to play for us/is there going to be a determination if he's eligible (NCAA had supposedly cleared him in early August).

I'm curious because pending this, he could be the 5th guy that we have seriously recruited or have had committed to not even be eligible, academically eligible, or make it to campus (kante, love, reeves, perez?).
