with 1:09 left in the game, Texas tries an onside kick. Washington recovers. Texas had 2 timeouts but rather than take 3 knees, Washington runs the Rb into the line... I'm sure they felt it would eat up a few more seconds, however, it also brought the risk of a turnover. if you took three knees, you would have probably punted to Texas with about 20 seconds left on the clock. As it turned out, their RB got injured, the clock stopped and Washington punted with 50 seconds left. It's also possible the RB may be hobbled or not be able to play come Monday. It almost cost Washington the game. Let's hope they are not any better with clock management next week.
