BB Players - Support Coach - 'right man for the job' MLive article from today

Man - emotionally perhaps but none of the numbers and results, improvement or development for individuals or the team are visible or work in his favor.

There's no evidence that he should stay for another year other than emotions - Players or perhaps Warde. That's sad and I do put that on Coach and Warde .

Ides of March - the 15th...we'll see if we hear anything by tomorrow night...PR release at 8:47 PM seems about the right timing:)

Are we ever going to get the Back Story on M Hart

Are we ever going to get what happened? It seems like Clinkscale was upset he did not get DC and M Hart felt he should have been considered for HC. Here is my read on it they saw him as co-worker and felt he is no different than them. Harbaugh is a legend and its much easier to accept a lesser role under him because of his background than a new guy. There are alot of stories out there about Hart and Moore hating each other I don't believe that. Hopefully we get clarity on the situation.

LIVE THREAD: Michigan vs. Penn State (Big Ten Tournament)

Michigan takes on Penn State tonight in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament. Wolverine fans everywhere will soon rejoice, as tonight will likely be the end of one of the most excruciatingly painful seasons any sports team at the University of Michigan has ever had.

The Wolverines enter the contest healthy — aside from Olivier Nkamhoua — and they'll look to extend the season at least another day.

Winner takes on No. 6 Indiana tomorrow night.

Tonight's tip-off is scheduled for about 9 p.m.

Tony Alford speculation

This is second hand because I don't listen to Zach Smith's podcast but I just read someone say that he said one of the reasons Tony Alford likely left is a lack of chemistry or communication or identity of sorts with their offense.

That's only going to be made worse by Coach Kelly coming in. I see this is totally true because sometimes you can have too many chefs in the kitchen! What is their offensive identity? As long as Ryan Day is there, it's always going to be trying to pass and soft.

They're probably trying to compensate with a run game and physicality but at the same time. Chip Kelly isn't necessarily known for that. This is a team caught up somewhere between air raid pro style, RPO spread option and power run. In their case, I honestly think that it will not be helpful to them and their identity.

No. Marvin Harrison Jr... Ultimately they're going to go back to whatever Ryan Day wants to do which means they probably won't utilize their running backs properly, won't be as effective as being physical. Won't be explosive this isn't 2010. Chip Kelly. I think they'll just be another run of the mill. Kind of spready spread offense sort of like what they were last year

but with a quarterback who's not as good of a passer. They'll have better leadership and a better run game if they use the quarterback in the run game a lot. But I still think you're looking at a team who's offense can be held in check a few times in the regular season. I wouldn't be surprised if we held them to 20 points or less in Columbus.

Football Offensive breakout candidates during spring practice

Took a quick stab at some names on offense who I think can breakout for the Wolverines this year. Defense tomorrow.
