I just watched two very interesting replay's from Greg Flugaur's PATC regarding (a long summary)

information he's received on ND and the ACC.

The SEC wants UNC & UVA. The B1G wants UNC & UVA as well.

The SEC apparently has the upper hand, because the money people and those in the government at UNC want UNC in the SEC while, the University, academia want UNC in the B1G.

Greg's main source and all the others he speaks with (some have info from the B1G offices) believe the SEC will pounce first and take UNC, UVA, FSU & Clemson.

This is based upon 2 reasons, the SEC wants new contagious expansion. The SEC wants UNC & UVA for basketball, and their academics. The SEC wants to show that they do care about academics.

Clemson is an SEC fit and they believe the SEC will overcome any South Carolina resistance from Clemson joining the SEC.
FSU is the kicker here, the SEC does NOT want the B1G to get a FSU & MIAMI blend into the B1G. Also, the SEC has absolutely NO interest in MIAMI. All the people Greg has spoken with are convinced that the SEC will take UNC, UVA, FSU & Clemson.

Now, how does this fit ND. They explained to Greg that ND's scheduling agreement with the ACC guarantees the Clemson game every year and every other year Miami & FSU. This is important because it fulfills their contract with NBC for games with national brands which includes ND's yearly game with USC. All ND games currently and as a future B1G member is located where their are large numbers of ND fans. The Big 12 is not an option because the brands are not big enough and thre are few is any ND fans throughout their regions. ND knows this and has acknowledged so.

With the ACC now fractured, everyone knows that FSU, MIAMI, Clemson, UNC, UVA, DUKE all want out of the ACC. Where will they go?

The big money people and apparently the B1G office believes that the SEC will take UNC, UVA, FSU & Clemson. The SEC will make this move to keep the B1G from getting FSU & Miami with 2 of the 3 major brands in Florida.

We can all agree that this move with these 4 schools to he SEC, USC in the B1G and the SEC vs B1G scheduling agreement will make it impossible for ND to have at least 4 major national brands for NBC.

This is where NBC, the ACC collapse with no major national brands in the ACC forces ND into the B1G.

Now, why MIAMI. The B1G presidents were 100% all in favor of MIUAMI becoming AAU. MIAMI is a high quality academic school and their research is massive for a school it's size. In fact, the B1G President's supposedly refer to MIAMI University and a mini U of M. This is how all of the B1G Presidents view Miami University. Also the B1G and our media partners want south Florida for the B1G. NBC & CBS more so want ND & Miami because it will bring far more marque games to be spread around all the major networks. FOX wants this as well because FOX wants NBC & CBS to be happy media partners.

It is believed that with B1G Money and better national exposure MIAMI will become competitive again. This will give the media partners Michigan, OSU, ND, PSU, USC, MIAMI, Oregon, Washington and hopefully NEBRASKA & UCLA to continue their upward trajectory, having 10 bigger national brand will bring the B1G and our media partners the big game environments for all 3 major TV partners to win ratings wise.

This is pretty much what was gathered from the last 2 - 2 hour PATC shows on this subject.

It appears the B1G & SEC will soon have 20 schools each and a B1G vs SEC scheduling agreement.

That's my take...

Offensive Line Thoughts

I’ve watched some of this season’s film, last year’s Spring game, and some high school film. It’s a limited sample, but makes a fun discussion. I could see the OL shaking out quite a bit differently than many may expect.
LT- Babalola or Norton (athleticism and/or length)
LG- Link (just looks like he could really excel inside- love his size and ability to move people)
C- Crippen (maturity and experience)
RG- Efobi (the third year and ready to go)
RT- Sprague (great tackle traits and came on late)

Wildcards: El-Hadi and Hattar at Guard and Frazier at Tackle.

OT: Blackstone Pro vs standard

I currently have a Blackstone 28 inch with air fryers. I am not too impressed with air fryers, but use my Blackstone 2 to 4 times a week. I am looking at getting a 36 inch for more cooking space. The 36 also has 4 burners for more heat control than the 2 with my 28. I am trying to decide between the Pro and the standard. I like the cabinets with the Pro, but wanted to know if anyone was familiar with the quality of the cabinets or the design quality difference of the burners etc. Any input would be appreciated.
