Trajectory of rivalry and program on the line in Michigan vs MSU

It's year 1 for Jonathan Smith and Sherrone Moore at their respective programs.
With MSU exceeding expectations, a win against Michigan could boost Smith's rebuild.
With Michigan struggling, a loss to MSU would be detrimental to the Moore era.

If you could make ONE CHANGE?

Question for the GROUP,

You can ONLY change 1 the 2024 squad:

1. JJ McCarthy at QB
2. Jesse Minter at DC
3. Jim Harbaugh as HC (with current ’24 staff)
4. Steve Clinksdale as DB
5. Zinter & Barnhart back on OL
6. Sainristil & Wallace back as DB’s

Which ONE (and only one) change would have the biggest impact on success this season?

Recruiting Palatine (Ill.) coach breaks down Michigan commit Jaylen Williams' game

“He's putting pressure on the quarterback pretty regularly, which is fun to see."

Palatine (IL) head coach Corey Olson describes the game of UM 2025 DE commit Jaylen Williams, who has blossomed in the past several months & looks ready for the next level.

how often has the #1 football player in the state come to Michigan

All this Bryce Underwood talk has me thinking and wanted to look back at how often the #1 player in Michigan ended up at Michigan. I went back to 2010 for the data
2010 - William Gholston MSU
2011 - Lawrence Thomas MSU
2012 - Aaron Burbridge MSU
2013 - Steve Elmer Notre Dame
2014 - Malik McDowell MSU
2015 - Mike Weber Ohio St
2016 - Daelin Hayes Notre Dame
2017 - DPJ Michigan
2018 - Kalon Gervin MSU
2019 - Logan Brown Wisconsin
2020 - Justin Rogers Kentucky
2021 - Damon Payne Alabama
2022 - Will Johnson Michigan
2023 - Dante Moore - UCLA
2024 - CJ Carr - Notre Dame
2025 - Bryce Underwood LSU

so for 15 recruiting classes, Michigan has only landed the top player in the state twice

Something quietly going on behind the scenes

is a B1G & SEC scheduling agreement. According to the sources that Greg Fluguar has, there is a scheduling agreement coming.

The logic behind this scheduling agreement is the networks are willing to pay a premium to the B1G & SEC conferences to play each other more often. This includes both leagues playing a 9 game league schedule.

This will prove to be a death noll to Notre Dame, forcing them to join the B1G. Two schools will need to come and Fluguar was told from his sources a month ago or so that the B1G Presidents will say YES to a MIAMI of Fla becoming a B1G member.

Should the ACC break up, Fluguar reported, again from his sources that Fla State, Clemson, North Carolina and Virginia will be SEC bound.

Bringing the B1G & SEC to 20 teams/schools each.

Either WARDE changes everything he believes or Michigan needs an aggressive pro FB Athletic Director who will fight to get FB & BB everything needed to get the best athletes.

!!!!! Each of the SEC & B1G is also going to a conference 13th or 12th game for a conference playoff for seeding.
