With McCulley committing to Michigan tonight, not a huge shock to see Virgil headed elsewhere. He was linked to some big schools, so somewhat surprising Texas Tech gets him.
Still think Michigan adds another X receiver and 6'2" speedy receiver to play Z and replace Morris.

That there could be some traction between Alabama transfer RB Justice Haynes and Michigan. Spoke with a lot of confidence it was going to get done.

I say this is significant because he called me out of the blue and he never does. Haynes played for Buford so the connection makes sense.

As for Michigan’s side, haven’t gotten as much confidence yet. There is interest for sure and Tony Alford once recruited Haynes to Ohio State.

I’ll chalk this up to a “we’ll see” but definitely something noteworthy. Not ready to make a public declaration that this will get done just yet.

During all of our struggles during this season I kept hearing how we were going to attack the portal and bring in a major portal haul. I know it’s still very early in the portal but it doesn’t even look like we are looking at some of the bigger names. We need a lot and so far it seems like very minimal has been done.
