Brady Hart had his recruiting hat on Saturday

Touched base with the elite Michigan QB commitment, who was back in AA on Saturday. He not only enjoyed reconnecting with the UM staff in person, where he continues to report solidity, but he was recruiting for Moore and company along the way. He mentioned targets like Jamar Browder, Lincoln Keys, Brock Harris and Moose Ludwig among those he was spending time with while on campus.

"I had the recruiting reigns today," Hart tells Rivals. "It was an amazing time, can't wait to see what is in the future for this program."

Hart also said he was well aware of the Bryce Underwood smoke and hopes the staff can reel him in, saying it could be a great start to the finish of the 2025 cycle while providing more competition for him when he arrives for good. It shouldn't surprise to know the Floridian is plenty ready to compete.

Folks are going to focus on Campbells late stretch culimating in the Morgan pass...

and they should because that was a deplorable sequence and most know I don't do the play calling thing because theres so much nuance we don't know.

But you don't need all the nuance to know that taking the ball out of Warren's hands who was actually on fire creating two tds out of near nothing to put it in semaj's hands for an all or nothing trick play was brutal.

BUT, what I find even worse and makes me wonder what he did learn about how we won for three years, is his first three first down play calls. Perimeter based plays that lost a total of 7 yards.

On the first series on 2nd down we punch them square in the face and Edwards went for 8, but we were already behind the sticks.

Then we got back to the middle on second down after the fumble recovery and Don gets 15.

Unreal.

So we know we need to possess, we know Mullings and Edwards are a strength, its November in the Big Ten with Oregon travelling cross country and Campbell is going grab bag with his offensive calls. No chance to set a tone that puts them on their heels and makes them question if they are in for a bigger fight than they thought.

I was and remain disgusted with it.

Thoughts on the game from row 7 . . .

1. First game I've been to in Ann Arbor this year and it was a beautiful day and lots of fun. Went with an old college roommate - first Michigan football game we've gone to together in 33 years (the last game we were at together was 91 OSU - Desmond punt return/Heisman pose). I think sometimes we as fans often takes college sports way too seriously. I understand for the players, they put some much of themselves in it and, in many cases, it's basically a job. But for fans, it's nothing but entertainment - we have nothing riding on it.
2. I thought Warren looked pretty good - especially when he had time. You can tell he's still learning. I hope he's back next year. I could see where we could win with him if he has a solid line and a few more receivers.
3. What a beast Loveland is. He's so athletic for a big TE.
4. It seemed to me that the interior of the OL struggled more than the tackles. In general, Warren seemed to have time on most dropbacks.
5. What happened on the procedure penalty on us on the punt? What did we do wrong?
6. Mullings doesn't appear to be 100%.
7. As many people have commented, Campbell doesn't seem to have a great feel for play calling. We got behind the chains too much on 1st down. Obviously, the calls late in the red zone were very odd.
8. It was going to take a near perfect game for us to win today with us missing Johnson and Hill. Our defense would have looked a lot different with a secondary of Johnson, Turner, Sabb this year . . . and allowed us to play a lot more aggressively up front (or at least not been burned as much for doing so).
9. We needed more from the front 4 today. Gabriel had way too much time to throw - especially in the first half. Moore has been pretty quiet. I wonder how much of that has to do with health. Gotta give credit to Steward for gutting it out after getting hurt. He's a warrior.
10. Oregon's blocking outside was better than our's - i.e., their receivers.
11. I was sitting around a ton of recruits and their family members (Section 23, Row 7). Unfortunately, I can't tell you who any of them were because recruiting is not my thing.
12. It would be nice if the students would get to the game on time and not leave early. Players deserve more.

How close were we from winnings 3 plays

1) First TD was BS. You can't miss that as a referee. It's not a judgment call. He dropped it
(4 points)
2) Tyler Morris drop at the 2. We kicked a FG next play. He catches that which he should of we score a TD potentially. (4 points)
3) Stupid penalty on special teams and another dropped pick again by Paige.
(3 points)

These go the way they should of its 24-21 Oregon with the ball at their 15 with 9 minutes to go. This game was that close. Three plays we either got f... on and or didn't execute. We played well just didn't execute when we needed.
