Insider Davey's Dimes: Couple notes from Michigan's secret scrimmage vs Florida State

Apologize for the delay...

I was waiting to grab some more information, but I figured it's been too long, might as well publish what I have and add an update later.

Okay, so for starters: (literally)

Llewellyn
Bufkin
Howard
Williams
Dickinson

Was told, by an FSU source, that Jett Howard looked really good. I was told that he was the biggest standout for Michigan. Dickinson had a good game, but was told he didn't play completely up to his level, that he left a little to be desired.

This game went incredibly smooth, but I get the impression that it was completely scripted. The game was two 20 minute half, with the first half split into 10 minute segments of trying different defenses. The second half was more of the same, and I was told the game ended in a tie... hence why I believe it was completely scripted.

Following the second half of the game, was a 10 minute segment in which the Walk-On's played. The most notable player playing on either side was Michigan freshman, Gregg Glenn III. It seems that Glenn is primed for a redshirt season as he continues to develop.

As I stated, the game went smoothly and there is an immense amount of mutual respect between Juwan Howard and Leonard Hamilton. It appears there is an agreement for Michigan to continue to play Florida State in pre-season scrimmages for the foreseeable future.

PSA. It is in everyone's best interest to not draw too many conclusions from 40 minutes of a scripted scrimmage.

I will have more on this as soon as I can...
