I Hope…

That we don’t take the high road and stop pursuing the truth about OSU and all of this bullshit.

Winning the game is the ultimate revenge, no doubt, but I don’t want to let that be it. I want to kick them while they are down and expose every bit of cheating they have done.

I truly hope the leadership at UM isn’t using yesterdays win as the proverbial mic drop.

Recruiting Michigan visit 'experience of a lifetime' for 2025 ATH Marcus Wimberly

I am not ready to make any official flip predictions here for Wimberly, still need to wait and see what his process looks like moving forward but I have no doubt in my mind that if he were to decommit from Arkansas, U-M is the top choice and I don't think it's close.

Insider On further staffers being implicated…

Posted this in our rumor thread but I think it deserves a thread of its own.

Where things stand right now, the NCAA DOES NOT have any concrete evidence on any assistant coach being wrapped up in this thing.

The way it was laid out to me, anything that could be used is purely circumstantial right now and would not be enough to be considered damning. What does circumstantial look like? I’m not sure.

Wanted to share that because I know rumors are out there.

NORTHWESTERN...much respect

David Braun easily B1G coach of the year.
1-11 last year.
Long time coach Pat Fitzgerald summarily fired.
Wildcats consensus preseason last place finish in B1G.
Now 7-5 with one loss at 8 points and another at 3 points.
I hope they get a good bowl game.
Talk about developing and keeping a team together under hardships.
David Braun for B1G coach of the year.

Trevor Keegan played the game of his life yesterday

Trevor Keegan said the season didn't matter without a win vs Ohio State.
He played the game of his life yesterday, and after the emotional loss of Zak Zinter, he went to another level.
Wearing #77, Keegan cemented his status as Michigan Legend.

MSU has apparently hired Jonathan Smith from Oregon State as its next football HC

He is a very good coach, but he is with a school that is second fiddle to Oregon in player recritment, fan base and facilities. Plus, his school will not be in the BlG and there are only four teams left in the PAC 12. His old school needs to find a new conference, maybe the Mountain West. Smith jumped at the possibility of getting the BlG, but he will still be second fiddle in his new state. I think that Sparty has made a good decision in hiring a good guy and not another embarassment after Tucker.

Slightly OT: KZoo Growlers Selling T-Shirts of Ryan Day

The Kalamazoo Growlers are selling T-Shirts for Ryan Day to be its 3rd Base Coach.

From the link:
'“We think Ryan was born for the position.” said Growlers Owner, Brian Colopy, “We will do whatever it takes to get Ryan to Kalamazoo.”

'Ryan Day and Ohio State are coming off their 3rd straight loss to their long time rival in the University of Michigan.'

Within the link below, is another link to where you can buy the shirt. I might get one. Too good to pass up.

Did y'all see the BS that Thamel was spouting on Gameday yesterday?

Yesterday on ESPN's College Gameday, Thamel said this:

“I think the results of today’s game loom as a significant pivot point for Jim Harbaugh’s future at Michigan. A loss could expedite key decisions from both sides. A win obviously returns Jim Harbaugh to the sidelines here at Michigan. They play in the Big Ten title game, and then they go on to be a favorite, if they beat Iowa, in the College Football Playoff. It would also inherently temper NFL interest in Harbaugh until the season’s done."

“A loss could put things in fast forward, it could open the door to any NFL conversations Harbaugh could have. It would also put Michigan’s decision makers in the crosshairs. They’d need to determine in the upcoming weeks whether they want Harbaugh to return to the sideline despite a suspension to start the 2024 season looming as an inevitability.”

I feel like we don't even need Josh to weigh in here to know that this is bullshit. Our decision makers would need to determine if we want him to return? Uh, have you been paying attention, Thamel? Like, at all? Our entire university is behind Harbaugh. I sincerely doubt Harbaugh's future was uncertain even if we had lost this game, at least in terms of Michigan's interest.
