Am I just overly optimistic or...

I feel nervous.. because I am NOT nervous?

I feel like we win this game by 14. Like I am getting serious OSU vs. Oregon 2014 vibes.

Washington’s defense is literally terrible by every statistical ranking

They won’t really have their RB - yes I know he'll play but give me a break.

Yes Penix is sick but… so?

They can’t really stop the run and their pass defense is worse than Indiana.

Michigan 34 - 20

and before anyone says it... YES I know we can lose if we turn the ball over 4 times like TCU - but you could pretty much say that for any game ever.

What am I missing? I don’t want to be overconfident but idk man. I hope not to be let down but I feel VERY confident about a Michigan win.

Thoughts? Takes? Am I underselling UW?

Ohio State coach carjacked on recruiting trail

Buckeyes tight ends coach Keenan Bailey has car stolen on Cleveland recruiting trip.

The December early signing period for NCAA recruits opens Dec. 20, in eight days, and as such, coaches throughout college football are scampering across the country for last-minute visits with prospects.

Ohio State's Keenan Bailey had his progress rather abruptly halted Monday night when he was headed to Ginn Academy, the Cleveland-area magnet school northeast of the city's downtown.

Bailey was carjacked, according to multiple reports, by four youths who seized Baiey's automobile and led police on a downtown chase. Cleveland law enforcement even deployed a helicopter to help track the suspects and bring to an end a chase that resulted in multiple arrests.

According to Cleveland.com, Bailey was stopped at gunpoint and had his Dodge Durango SUV taken by the youths, whom the report noted also sought to carjack additional people in the area.

The Buckeyes in Ryan Day's 2024 OSU class have a pair of commitments, Bryce West and Demarion Witten, who attend Ginn Academy and play for area school Glenville.

An OSU spokesperson confirmed to media that Bailey was not injured during the high-jacking and that the Buckeyes' tight ends coach had resumed his recruiting.

OT: Researching for My Futurist Pal Will and NOT liking What I’m Finding…

Can’t say much because much of the data I’ve obtained is restricted..which is different than classified as it can be shared with the companies of the military industrial complex, certain forward thinking military advisers devising the military forces and armaments of 10-20 years from now, auditors of where the armaments industry, the Pentagon‘s archaic weapons systems development and procurement process is wasting billions, and the assumed and unconstitutional influence elected officials wield far to much power over the pentagon, resulting in a long history of a ridiculously bad record of political pork weapons projects that continue to be built even after the armed forces declared the warfare system a failure and wanted to cancel the project. The latest example is the LCS Ship Class that is a complete failure that the Navy wanted to cancel back in 2018, but the administration in power at the time made the Navy accept 6 more ships from a disaster of a program where the Navy is already retiring the first wave of LCS ships after 6-7 years of service…wasting billions of more money needlessly. This is not meant to be a biased political statement, I’m an empiricist who employs the scientific method in my research. But it must be said that the previous administration was one of the worst when it came to rewarding supportive legislators with boondoggle military pork projects that seriously affected our combat readiness if we had to go to China right now. It was so bad that it set critical weapons systems that we and our allies are relying upon like the F-35, that is experiencing serious issues that have set back production optimistically 6-8 months. And that’s just one of many Ive found that my friend and housemate, now a 2 Star General after being a Colonel commanding an armored battalion in the first gulf war, A brigadier General commanding an armored division in the Iraq war, and now commands a small investigative team fighting politically motivated pork projects from the Pentagon.

This is what I’ve learned. Every country in Western Europe, Northern Europe, and Central Europe is spending like crazy to arm themselves to the teeth with the latest weapons systems. Even small countries like Lithuania and Romania. Remember when I said my futurist pal Will, who I’m doing this research for, said about 7 years ago that Turkey is going to start the next World War? Well guess who has spent the most and now has the biggest, most powerful armed forces in Europe today? Yep..it’s Turkey. Russia has been a hated traditional enemy since the 17th century. Stalin almost invaded Turkey in 1946 until Truman’s incredible balls scared Stalin off. Putin will never be weaker than he is now. Putin has lost 90% of his pre-Ukraine invasion fighting forces as of this month. Thank Jesus Turkey is a loyal NATO member..but Europe knows war is coming..soon

The same thing is happening in the South China Sea and the South Pacific. From Australia to South Korea..everyone is rearming at breakneck speed. The 3rd Multidomain Force just held huge exercises in Hawaii of forces from France, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Tonga. I found evidence of a super secret naval program with Australia, The US, India, Japan, South Korea, and a tiny sliver of a hint that Taiwan is a member as well that is focusing on a new, next generation beyond the Virginia Class new attack sub, so secret I couldn’t find out anything about it program anywhere. All I know is it’s to neutralize China‘s massive build up of a surface fleet.

Speaking of Taiwan, they’ve been spending so much money on the latest weapons systems that they’re like a giant island battleship that China might be committing a HUGE mistake if they attempt to invade. First, China hasn’t been in a War since 1953 and have zero experience attempting an invasion from the sea. Taiwan has long range missile systems now that can strike Beijing and a host of other Chinese Cities or strategic targets. Even without any foreign support their Air Force is far superior, they built up a smallish but lethal navy of modern surface ships and a whole school of new attack submarines. Taiwan could be China’s biggest blunder if they invade.

Anyone who thinks Japan hasn’t built up their military far more than anyone has estimated and hidden the evidence in endless miles of cavernous unground interconnected network of hidden warehouse sized facilities dug out for years in Japan in preparation of the US invasion, X Day, that never happened but were maintained are fooling themselves. Anyone who doesn’t think we armed Japan with a couple of hundred tactical nuclear missiles decades ago is also kidding themselves Japan just launched its second carrier in 2 years and is 3/4ths away from launching their 3rd.

THE CRITICAL REVERSAL: the US Army has been watching the Invasion of Ukraine intently and learned so much it scrapped its whole modernization plan started in the last decade to create the army of 2030 for a total redesign from force structures, smaller and instantly mobile command centers, scrapping their next Abrams tank totally for a much lighter tank of unknown electric engine capacity with a small hybrid diesel. All I could find is that lithium or other heavy corrosive and flammable batteries will not be used. Pops thinks it’s a new battery made of recycled plastic he read about. Whatever it is, it will be far lighter, not a fire danger like chemical batteries are, it will have a crew of three with a totally AI autonomous turret with a new 140mm multi munition smooth bore gun the tank holds far more rounds for and the AI target acquisition can load and fire at an almost semiautomatic rate. In fact, because of the war in Ukraine, the US is scrapping everything they had planned and are building the Army of 2040. Unfortunately, this will create a 7-10 year tech gap that our forces must adapt the older equipment to cover the gap until the new systems are delivered.
The navy did the same thing, scrapping plans to build smaller littoral vessels to return to relying on new destroyers with a virtual Aegis system and a fleet of AI autonomous much cheaper surface ships to perform anti submarine warfare. New Air to Sea flying drones that can become submersibles to attack surface ships as small attack drones in submarine mode, can perform hunter-killer anti sub duties, and then launch out of the water and perform as combat attack aircraft. All still based around the power of the carrier task force, but as a cheaper more powerful, more protective, fully AI integrated naval surface ships and air/sea drones providing Pickett ship protection. Swarm drone attack technology, non kinetic weapons systems, and anti electronics highly concentrated microwave weapons that are already functional can be used to knock, drones, planes, and anti ship missiles out of the sky.

Space Force Armament: all I could find is weaponizing space is a fast track priority and that the next 8th generation fighter will be able to leave the atmosphere and fly in space with a smaller secondary engine like a plasma drive and re enter the atmosphere without the need of heat shielding as the outer stealth tiny pyramid radar reflecting covering will also be made of a heat absorbing and quickly dissipating composite material, so that future crafts will be covered in this material as well.

Cloaking technology will be applied to the new Trophy reactive armor invented by the Israelis on all future armored vehicles.

What will be in my final assessment is a recommendation to make preemptive aggressive total destruction strikes against Moroccan and Iranian ports as soon as possible where the Chinese and Russians are circumventing the tech sanctions that should have stopped Putin’s war machine and crippled his economy by now, It’s an aggressive move I don’t think will escalate to conflict with the Chinese or Russians. And if we are sneaky enough, the Iranians will assume it was us but have no proof. If they are dumb enough to retaliate, well, we will have carte blanc to do what we have been dying to do for 30 years, decimate Iran’s military capabilities. Be Decisive. Be Quick. Be First.

I will also conclude that another World War will begin sooner rather than later. Turkey is spoiling to attack Putin, and all of Europe knows it’s coming. If it happens, as a founding NATO member, we should join them with everything we got to get to Lenin Square and cut the head off the snake before he can figure out what’s happening. The murderous bastard deserves it, he’s never been more unpopular in Russia, and we have to get him before he realizes our forces are at the gates and the megalomaniac launches a nuclear retaliatory strike..even though we have a proven anti ballistic missile system in operation now.

A huge issue is where will we get the money to pay for all of this? You’re not gonna like my answer, but I’d use executive war powers to suspend our current tax structure that provides breaks and loopholes where corporate giants end up paying far less than they should, and the ultra rich often pay no tax at all. Everyone pays the same personal rate, and corporations like Mobil don’t get 600 million tax breaks for developing alternative fuels they have no intention of actually producing on an industrial level. I’d also bring back public bonds with a great rate that is an attractive safe investment of guaranteed growth.

Action must be taken urgently, China may be desperate and attack Taiwan now while our combat readiness is really low due to policies of the previous administration based purely on the data. I made no assumptions until the evidence was overwhelming. Consider this 1939 and we know we will be at war by December 7th, 1941. My opinion is to aggressively close the tech gap as quickly as possible.

well, I’m still working and researching my report. I was denied access to the NSA digital archives as well as those in Langley…which I expected. pretty sure I didn’t divulge anything restricted. Hope those interested found this informative.

McCarthy #7 QB on The Athletic Big Board, only Michigan player listed

The Athletic has released their NFL Draft Big Board, and JJ McCarthy is the only Michigan Wolverine to make the list. What does the ranking say about his stay-or-go choice with McCarthy's decision looming?

By the Numbers: McCarthy vs Penix

Washington QB Michael Penix is elite. But once again, Michigan and JJ McCarthy face narratives about their offense and passing game.
But when it comes to efficiency, deep passing, and facing pressure, what do the numbers say?

Question about ticket prices for Monday

Was wondering what people think ticket prices get down to come early afternoon on Monday?

I'm a 12 hour drive away, and if I go it would be with my 2 daughters (9 and 7 years old) - so we would need 3 tickets. I've long thought that I would make the trip to the National Title game if we got there, but I can't justify the ticket cost + venue. If tickets were to get down to $500-600, I think I'd make the trip tomorrow night and do it.

Does anyone think that is possible?

Side note: I'm really kicking myself due to not making the Rose Bowl trip. My dad took us for the 1998 game, and it's been an iconic moment ever since. The holiday time period made it difficult, as we always fly back home to Michigan for Christmas to see my family and my in-laws. As satisfying as that win was, I just can't get past the fact that I decided not to go. For some reason the National Title game just doesn't excite me as much as the Rose Bowl, due to the 1998 game experience, and everything that the Rose Bowl is.

My wife was pretty stressed out...

...packing today.
3 outfits for Sunday Monday and Tuesday. She was quite overwhelmed as to not pick a combination that she wore for the Maryland game. Which wasn't one of our best games.

The game day outfit has been all over the place. The one constant is the ear rings she has worn every game so we are good. The victory outfit has been the same for the last 5 games. Travel outfit has been a hodge podge.

For me my biggest challenge is making sure my socks match. After that it doesnt really matter.

I have a serious Michigan gear problem! The closet and drawers are all Michigan

I think I need help!

Our football program is like Beilein's better teams leveled up

Character heavy.

Player development.

Scouting.

Coaching and scheming. Being smarter.

Unearthing gems, sometimes guys no one has heard of.

The machine requires you to have some bigger talent too. Walton = Blake.

Coaching staffs. Makes changes when have issues, but finds great coaching talent.

To me 2023 Michigan is a better version of 2013 bball.

Talent everywhere, but rockstar defense to equalize any offensive struggles.

Harbaugh not focused on future until after Championship game

In 2022, Jim Harbaugh laid his goals at Michigan, “to beat Ohio State and Michigan State in the same year, win the Big Ten and the National Championship.”
One win away, Harbaugh is living in the present and says answers for his future will come soon.

Visited the OSU Horseshoe Lounge

Went over and watched and interacted with the Bucknuts in Horseshoe land a for a few days. LOL was it fun.

Actually posted with them and they agreed with a lot of what I was saying about improving the team and adjustments Day needs to make. Similar to what Michigan did in 2020 “despite the cheating”.

It was “Oh Yeah”, Day is horrible needs to change his coaches, yadda yadda yadda. Talked about spygate and maybe it wasn’t that bad. OSU needs to stop focusing on ‘their’ cheating. Yeah yeah, their SCUM but Harbaugh has built a good team.

Then I told them I was a Michigan fan. Best 2-3 days of just interacting and watching them all crawl out taking shots at me.

Wasn’t trolling just talking about the facts and how they see them versus what we see.

Man are they rabid about Spygate and Stallions.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
