Original Authentic Michigan Jerseys for sale - Sturgis Mi

If this isn't allowed, I apologize. I am in no way affiliated with the shop. I just left, got the Harbaugh and a Zinter jersey. They were originally commissioned to make special Rose Bowl Jerseys and ended up handling all of the jerseys for the next 25-30 years. These are extras that had never gotten a name or number in them. They're white away jerseys. Some were 30 years old so some can be a bit faded. You can get any name and number. They're hoping to have them finished by Friday. Cash only.

My suggestion...

Michigan has won the damn national championship. Focus on the here and now. You'd think Michigan is coming off a painful semi-final loss with the negativity around here.

Live in the present, and worry about the future once spring and fall camp rolls around.

This team set out to do exactly what it said it would. Turn the page when the page needs to be turned. No team is ever going to be the same, especially in college football.

I'm calling it a night, the negativity blows my mind less than a week removed from a title win.

Before you hit send today

Remember what this young man has done for us. I was in the camp he was staying for reasons that he is just not ready. Regardless JJ brought us a NC. If he leaves today don't disparage the young man. Appreciate what he has done. College football is ever changing with players. Reload and go back at it. Team 145 will be fine and ready to compete in the fall. We are NC don't hit send and take away from what these young men did for us.

Football This is the price of doing business

Good players leave for the pros, just like good coaches get poached. That's the price of doing business when you're good. Michigan has been fortunate keeping the gang together, this is the result of having an older team that stayed to win. People are going to leave when the job is done.

The true sign of a good program is how you respond to losses. So far, Michigan has done just fine in the coaching department. The real works come in with the portal after spring ball. I expect them to be busy.

If they can bounce back quickly, you know the program is in a good spot.

This is the new norm and if a little adversity makes you queasy, you're not going to like it.

Happy Day

Today is a great day! We are national champs, the lions play their first home playoff game, and we will hear decisions from players and coaches the next few days.

Many have been upset about what may happen to the program in the next chapter and I say be happy. This is the way things are supposed to go. It the way life is. Nothing stays the same. We need to enjoy the ride irregardless of the outcome. We are let to experience something that many fan bases have not and will not ever experience.

Be happy enjoy the ride.
Go Blue
Go Lions

Michigan will win 27-20

Yup 27-20.

Alabamas Season
  • There’s a narrative out there that Alabama is significantly improved. I disagree. Let’s quickly walk through their games.
  • Game 1: middle Tennessee. Blew them out. G5 game so whatever.
  • Game 2: Texas. Held Texas to 27 ex a black zone pick which led to an easy TD. Scored 24. This is really not a terrible performance against Texas which we now know is a great team.
  • Game 3: USF. Just a bad game but Milroe was benched so I don’t care.
  • Game 4: Ole Miss: underrated game by Bama. Per the usual, scored in the mid 20s. But notably held their offense to 10. 24-10. People underrate ole miss bc of injuries that occurred later on.
  • Game 5: Mississippi State: blowout convincing win. MSU is bad.
  • Game 6: Texas A&M: This one is interesting. Texas A&M has dudes in the front 7 like Michigan and Alabama could not run at all. Bama won 26-20.
  • Game 7: Arkansas: clunker. Arkansas is bad and Alabama won 24-21.
  • Game 8: Tennessee: played awful the first half and dominated the second. 34-20. Overall a decent performance on both sides of the ball id say.
  • Game 9: LSU: This is the beginning of the “Alabama fixed their offense” narrative because Alabama scored 42 (to LSUs 28). But LSUs D is terrible and it was heavily injured in the secondary. I’m more impressed by alabamas defense holding them to 28.
  • Game 10: Kentucky: Alabama was up 21-0 in about 5 minutes. Kentucky is an incomplete team on defense… but this game added fuel to the fire that alabamas offense is fixed. I don’t know about that.
  • Game 11: FCS game
  • Game 12: Auburn: lol. The Bama fans will tell you to just throw this game out because it’s cursed or something. Nope not gonna do that. The Alabama offense of usual showed up to this one scoring 20 points plus 7 from a muffed punt + Hail Mary. Won 27-24.
  • Game 13: Georgia. Won 27-24. Like the LSU game I’m impressed with the defense but not so much the offense. Georgias d wasn’t as special this year esp up front. But their offense is elite and Bama once again held an elite offense below 30.
  • —-> Alabamas offense has been “fine” all year.
  • —-> Alabamas defense is elite insofar as it scales well to holding great offenses below 30, but everyone seems to be able to get to 20+.

Michigan Offense / Alabama Defense
  • Bama’s strength is at cornerback and edge. Dropping back is a risk, and throwing outside the numbers is difficult unless you got dudes.
  • Maybe Wilson can replicate what Worthy did (Texas) in terms of burning them deep but I’m not assuming this.
  • Alabama can be fit though in the middle of the field, at linebacker and safety. I expect to see success with deeper crossers and TE stuff.
  • In the run game, Bama has been pretty stout. Except when the QB presents a running threat. JJ!
  • Again it seems like everyone scores 20 and no one scores 30. Id put our offense worse than LSU and Georgia and maybe in line with Texas. That would imply maybe 27 points, with some coming off good field position.

Michigan Defense / Alabama Offense
  • I believe Michigan is the best defense Alabama has faced.
  • Bama wants to do 3 things: run inside, run Milroe and throw deep.
  • I think we take away the inside run with our front 7 without overcommitting you the box.
  • I think we have the speed at safety and backer to slow down Milroe.
  • And our secondary has already faced a better deep threat team in OSU.
  • That said I expect Bama to hit several explosives. Milroe will make stuff happen. And we are going to lose some jump balls.
  • So 20 points seems right.

Hopefully Not

If JJ moves on, which seems to be the current drift, will that affect Jim Harbaugh’s decision? With our schedule a repeat would be tough. But with all things being equal, doing it while breaking in a new QB would be impossible. Is JJ’s decision a factor in Jim’s decision?

Saban saw next dynasty rising…

…HAIL yeah! Why not us?!?
GOALS:
1) keep Harbaugh
2) pay the assistant staff the highest assistant salaries in the country, including Hebert
3) given the above, JJ & Edwards will stay one more year
4) groom all the the assistant coaches to be next man up to succeed Harbaugh
5) continue to recruit for cultural fit and development
Let’s Go Blue!!!

Take a deep breath....

Remember that tweet from JJ 3 years ago..... Well that advice is needed today.... Players come and go. We miss most of them but they still come and go.

If someone told you 3 years ago that JJ would win a National Championship but leave after 3 years and we would have a rebuild year with a 5 star to replace him the year after, we all would take that.

Hell if someone told you Jim would leave after a national championship with a solid culture and a great replacement we would have taken it.

So take a deep breath, grab a beer and it'll be alright.

Insider My odds for JH staying increasing…

I get the sense that the desire for Jim Harbaugh is to stay at Michigan. I know the NFL circle says they THINK he’s ready for the NFL. It’s easy to say they think. I think I’m posting this late. They don’t know what Ann Arbor means to the Harbaugh family.

I get the sense his heart is in Ann Arbor.

No, I don’t have a timeline or anything like that. My OPINION as of this writing is the deal gets done.

Insider PM optimism check…

I am more optimistic that Jim Harbaugh, J.J. McCarthy and Donovan Edwards are back next year than I was earlier.

I don’t want to speak in definitives, especially when it comes to Jim Harbaugh, but there is confidence bubbling to the surface.

As for them making a big splash on Saturday, I can’t rule it out but I am currently not hearing anything specific on it.
