Great comeback win in OT by the Red Wings. Lucas Raymond scores late to tie it and gets the winner late in OT. Wings need to win tomorrow at Habs and have the Flyers beat Caps to get in playoffs. LCA sounded like the Joe.

This has evolved into a Michigan vs. Florida battle. Staying close to home vs. following the coach he originally committed to. I don't expect this to go on much further and I think Michigan has a reason to be optimistic here but I cannot put in any official predictions right now.

May has been open with Cason about wanting him to follow him to Ann Arbor in the process.

Doing more digging and hoping to find out more.

Being told this evening that Saint Mary’s guard Aidan Mahaney is “one to watch” for Michigan as he has entered the portal today.

He and new assistant Justin Joyner are very close so the pairing makes sense.

Will continue to dig to see what else I can find out.

After doing some digging and the news that Justin Joyner is coming to the program from Saint Mary’s, I was able to get a clearer sense of what May’s staff will look like moving forward.

The off-campus recruiting assistants:

Mike Boynton Jr.
Akeem Miskdeen
Justin Joyner

On the other two non-recruiting assistant roles, I am told that May plans to bring Kyle Church and Drew Williamson with him from FAU for those roles.

The special assistant role that was posted by the university is also going to Brandon Gilbert, who was May’s assistant to the head coach while at FAU.

There’s one more role out there that needs to be filled on the video side.

As for S&C coach, I am told that they’re working on that now.

For our Beyond the Depth Chart series, we look at players, position battles, and more.
First up, five breakout candidates carving out roles in the two-deep for 2024. including the player who could help replace Sabb, Moore, and Sainristil.
