I'm optimistic about the second half of the season.

After a week off and witnessing a QB that actually looks like a QB, I'm very hopeful.

I expect us to score 30 or more points this week. I also expect the offense to be on the field longer which should help the D out.
I expect good things if our OC doesn't get pass-happy and runs a balanced offense. Mullings needs 15-20 carries.

Some basketball notes ahead of Sunday's exhibition

- Justin Pippen will not play due to injury. Doesn't sound serious, just being precautionary as they try to stay healthy for the late-season push.
- Some other unnamed players are dealing with minor "day-to-day" injuries, but nothing serious.
- Tre Donaldson is getting primary ball-handling duties, with L.J. Cason being the backup there.

Michigan to host Indiana WR transfer for official visit

Earlier today I confirmed reports of Indiana WR transfer Donaven McCulley's upcoming visit to Michigan. It will be an official visit for the Michigan State game the weekend of Oct. 26.

UPDATE (10/24): I was just informed that McCulley will be rescheduling his visit to Michigan for another weekend. He's visiting Virginia Tech this weekend instead.

Video Good Afternoon, Michigan Football; Two keys for success for Saturday

A decent passing game and low turnovers are two keys that I'm identifying for success on the road this Saturday against Illinois. Also, what can this team do in the second half of the season to get to seven or eight wins.
