Michigan and Kennesaw State

I'm one of the idiots who thought hiring Sherrone was the way to go. Of course, I'm not paid over a million bucks to make that decision (cough WARDE cough).

Even though I thought Sherrone was the guy, how do you keep him at this point? Does Warde have the guts to fire him (hint: no, he doesn't)? Do the regents have the guts to fire Warde (hint: they don't).

Anyway, enjoy this latest humiliation.

How much leash does Moore have?

I’m about as objective as a Michigan fan as I can be. Knowing what we were replacing, with late hiring in the coaching cycle, and knowing we didn’t have a real QB option I wasn’t inspecting a 10-2 team, I was honestly believing 8-4/9-3. Which I still wouldn’t been mad at if we would’ve looked competent, disciplined, and played good football. This showcase this season is downright scary, and abysmal. It just doesn’t make sense in my opinion. I’m all for letting things play out but you honestly have to ask are the lights to bright for Sherrone. Especially when you went from a natty team to maybe the 2-3 worst team in the league with talent that should at least keep you upper middle of the pack.

I’m not calling for Moores job but it makes it tough to watch when you’re watching what’s happening at Indiana, when you watch Nebraska waltz out a true frosh QB and are currently 5-2, I mean Purdue is terrible and they put up numbers against this Illinois team. I think the question really has to be is this too big of a job for Sherrone and do you give him anything after this audition season?

As optimistic as I am I’m leaving heavily no. Late coaching hires or not the the undisciplined & sloppy play, the lack of fundamentals, as well as an anemic offense has to come back on the head guy! As we say at work for those in charge it may not be your job but its definitely your responsibility & I can say man Sherrone is looking like the responsibility is a little too much for him.

Go Blue!

Can we Honestly Say Moore is Anything But an Awful Coach?

Should he not be given one more year max or fired? Bad mismanagement of qb and rb position. Not adapting the defense with a terrible dc hire. Clearly OC hire was bad too. There’s nothing positive at all. This team has talent. Maybe not playoff or big ten champ caliber but the fact that he can’t even beat the mediocrity in the big ten with the talent we have … bad coaching, bad coach. Brady Hoke 2.0. Called it since the start. Don’t have so much pride and fandom you can’t see it folks. Season is now over. Halfway through. Pathetic. Unacceptable. This is Michigan.

This is why.......

My wife asked me back in January why I would spend so much money for tickets, hotel and flights to take the kids to the National Championship game in Houston. I just turned to my son and said "this is why we went to the championship game" because you never know how long it will be before you get back to play in one. Yes, most teams take advantage of winning championships with unbelievable recruiting classes and just reloading, but that's just not Michigan I guess. I'm very thankful for last year's title. Even more so after today's performance.

Moore has to make some bold moves in the offseason

I think the root of the issue is, he’s trying to be like his mentor instead of being like himself. If he wants to be successful here, he has to make this team into his own image. The way to do that is have an identity. Right now, this team has no identity.

He’s articulated what he wants to do on offense. Now, he needs to execute it.

I think the first matters of business is finding a new OC. The current one isn’t cutting it at all. Second, is to hit the portal hard.

Do that and he will find success.
