Recruiting Chris Ewald Jr.

The 2025 Rivals100 cornerback from Hollywood, Florida, made his return to Michigan last weekend. He said it was the best visit he’s taken there so far. He also plans to come back as early as next week for the Michigan State game. Steve Clinkscale is prioritizing Ewald which could dividends down the road. Story out soon.

Insider Offensive starter potentially is out tomorrow… (3:35 p.m. Update)

3:35 p.m. update: I have confirmed that Jeff Persi is indeed starting at left tackle tomorrow

Just got word that Michigan could potentially be without a starter on offense for Saturday.

Ryan Hayes is the player in question. Strong buzz that Jeff Persi will be getting the start tomorrow at left tackle.

Sounds like he’s banged up and resting this week.

I am monitoring some other minor injuries that could be rested tomorrow and I will let you all know when I get things more concrete.

Insider Inside intel on Michigan’s pursuit of two 2023 offensive linemen

After speaking to someone close to Michigan recruiting, I get the sense that Michigan has put itself in the discussion for both 2023 OL Spencer Fano and Caleb Lomu.

So much so the discussion that it’s possible that the Wolverines have vaulted itself near the top of their lists.

The two have built a good relationship with one another, with the two discussing potentially rooming together.

Coincidentally, the Wolverines are the only two in both players’ top lists.

Something to look out for moving forward.
