Insider Did some further digging on DJ Chester...

After some discussion on DJ Chester's announced decision date, I did some further digging about how Michigan is feeling about the situation.

You can read the initial discussion with my thoughts here: https://michigan.forums.rivals.com/threads/dj-chester-commitment-set.346972/

This is going to be a weird one, folks. I'd fully embrace it to be weird.

Michigan was feeling as if LSU was going to be the choice coming into the visit, now those tunes have changed slightly. Michigan feels as if things might've swung in their favor after a very good official visit. Chester's timing is interesting. A November 3rd announcement freshly coming off an official visit to Ann Arbor.

However, LSU still looms large and his official visit date to Baton Rouge is still scheduled—after his decision.

While he has not told any staff which direction he's headed just yet. This thing can result in multiple outcomes:

1. It's going to be LSU no matter what
2. He's going to name a glorified leader during a commitment ceremony and still take his LSU official
3. Commits to Michigan and cancels his trip to LSU.

And, to be honest, I have no clue which direction this one is going to go.

We'll find out one way or the other on November 3 but I don't plan on putting in any official forecasts until I get something concrete, which I might not. I still get the sense it's going to be LSU here but you never know.

Going to be an interesting week, for sure.

Harbaugh

If you want to see what a genuine leader says... its "we take responsibility for these families and how they are treated while their sons are in the program" these young men are entrusted to me by their families to the program, and we have the responsibility to each player to treat them like our own"..... This echo's Bo when he said ask me in 20 years how our team is... how they are as parents, husbands, citizens etc.

Thank you members of The Den

This has obviously been a heated couple of weeks that culminated with a disgusting display of violence after the game.
We will continue to report on the facts and information as it comes out.
As we, and all of you, continue to discuss these events, let's continue to hold ourselves to a high standard.
Some of the comments we have seen in other media and forums since Saturday night have ranged from disappointing to appalling. I have had to delete some posts and an entire thread here. To be clear, anything derogatory of people, especially student-athletes, that even borderlines on racist will not be tolerated.

We will continue to monitor the discussions on these boards, but I wanted to say thank you for largely staying civil and maintaining decorum when discussing what has happened.
If you see anything here that you feel doesn't represent our community, please report it and let us know.

We are very proud of this community, and it is moments like this where we show why we are different. What makes this place a better place to be.
Thank you and please continue representing yourselves and all of us so well.

Football Stock Report Offense Post MSU

Deep dive into JJ and the passing game. I have some concerns, but for me it is the receivers.
Blake Corum is ridiculous.
Is this year's offensive line better than last year??

Recruiting A potential 2023 flip candidate?

Confidence is emanating out of Ann Arbor from two separate sources after the weekend that the Wolverines have done enough to put itself in a position to potentially flip 2023 DL Roderick Pierce from Wisconsin.

I am not going to put in a flip FutureCast or anything just yet but it's definitely something to monitor moving forward. Not sure if there's imminence or if it actually happens just yet. Either way, the confidence is there.

Stay tuned.
