After some discussion on DJ Chester's announced decision date, I did some further digging about how Michigan is feeling about the situation.

DJ Chester - Offensive lineman for Louisiana State on Death Valley Insider

This is going to be a weird one, folks. I'd fully embrace it to be weird.
Michigan was feeling as if LSU was going to be the choice coming into the visit, now those tunes have changed slightly. Michigan feels as if things might've swung in their favor after a very good official visit. Chester's timing is interesting. A November 3rd announcement freshly coming off an official visit to Ann Arbor.
However, LSU still looms large and his official visit date to Baton Rouge is still scheduled—after his decision.
While he has not told any staff which direction he's headed just yet. This thing can result in multiple outcomes:
1. It's going to be LSU no matter what
2. He's going to name a glorified leader during a commitment ceremony and still take his LSU official
3. Commits to Michigan and cancels his trip to LSU.
And, to be honest, I have no clue which direction this one is going to go.
We'll find out one way or the other on November 3 but I don't plan on putting in any official forecasts until I get something concrete, which I might not. I still get the sense it's going to be LSU here but you never know.
Going to be an interesting week, for sure.
