Michigan sent out an offer to 2023 in-state three-star ATH Darius Taylor today. Taylor is committed to Minnesota currently.

After speaking with a source close to the situation, I am not ready to sit here and proclaim a flip quite yet. I believe there is a confidence that there COULD be one but that is not guaranteed.

According to the source, Taylor is 'pretty firmly' committed to the Gophers currently. However, he did leave the door open to the possibility of the Wolverines finding itself involved down the road.

"It is November so we will see what happens," the source said.

More on this when I can get it.

That they would like to not rush him more than 20+ times against Nebraska. Obviously, it's easy to say that on a Monday of game week as literally anything can change from now until kickoff, the game itself included.

The idea is to keep him fresh for Illinois and Ohio State.

SPOILER: It's not good.

Took visits to Villanova, Dayton, Michigan, and Gonzaga in that order.

Family doesn't plan on speaking until after the announcement.

I am expecting Gonzaga and would be shocked if anywhere else...

Michigan likely wraps up their high school recruiting class and will pursue transfers if any unforeseen attrition occurs.

I was actually there in State College.

When Woodson strolled into the end zone to put us up 17-0, you've never heard 90,000 people go quieter. Remember, Penn State were unbeaten themselves and were still entertaining National Championship thoughts of their own. That was a battle of top-5 teams.

We put an end to that by the second quarter.

I remember picking up the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette at a gas station to read on the drive back to Chicago the next morning, and the lede in the game story:

"Penn State isn't good enough to win the national championship this season. But Michigan is."

When will it be announced? Looking at the slate of games, seems like we will be the Big Noon Kickoff game. They aren’t playing USC/UCLA at 9am. I doubt Maryland/OSU is a more compelling matchup. Thoughts?

I know he was reported as a possible no-go yesterday. I rewatched the game and he should not have played. He wasn't himself. This is another guy we need healthy in 2 weeks. Hope he can recover from whatever is going on.
