When watching other games on Saturdays, what are your thoughts?

The more I watch other games on Saturdays, the more I really appreciate what we have. A few things come to mind for me.

1) God Bless our OL. I want to make sure I don't take the OL dominance for granted. Watching OSU, USC, etc - and then watching Michigan - the difference is wild. The protection in the passing game (JJ hardly ever gets touched) and the way we continue to get better and better with our run blocking. Man, it's really special.

2) This team, unlike any others in Jim's tenure, has shown an ability to focus on the task at hand. They've dominated the vast majority of every game. In years past, @Neb and @Minn could have presented some challenges. Instead, we absolutely steamrolled both. Watching USC hardly beat Arizona, Clemson struggle mightily with Wake Forest, and Miami lose to Georgia Tech (yikes) puts things in perspective. Hopefully we continue to roll in these types of games. I feel 100% confident - the leadership, drive and focus from this group is something I've never seen from a Michigan football team.

3) Physicality. Did anyone else notice how Minnesota had zero interest in actually competing to win last night? They were playing not to lose, while being down 24-3, etc. We expect our OL to wear down the defense, but man did our defense wear out Minnesota, especially in the 2nd half, last night. The defense is so fun to watch - especially when they are creating turnovers like they did last night.

This total domination of all their opponents this year...

...it has come at a price to individual stats. The great part about it not one player on this team gives a damn about individual accolades.
I was so happy to read what Donovan Edwards said about taking winning over touches. JJ...Blake...all of them have said the same.

Hard to break records when you're only playing 3 qtrs a game.

Scripted plays

@Josh Henschke i saw you referenced the scripted plays in the game day thread last night. Could you expand a little more on how that works-how many scripted plays are there usually, do they ever abandon if not working or if the defense is giving something else, etc. I wonder if with the reduction of plays per game generally has the number of scripted plays been reduced?
