Insider Locker room renovations to be discussed in today's Regent meeting...

Warde Manuel will be officially submitting a request for renovation of the Michigan football locker rooms as well as the men and women's basketball locker rooms and the William Davidson Player Development Center.

Don't see why these won't get approved.

Football renovations: $14 million
Basketball: $10 million

Spygate

First and foremost this is a bunch of crock why don’t they investigate OSU with Urban Liar who’s in everyone’s kitchen passing on info to the Bucknuts the NCAA is a bunch of crap. Michigan should have told them to kick rocks and see you in court just like Texas, Texas A&M and other schools in the SEC who after some recent NIL stuff that is egregious and can be proved but they backed off of those schools.

In a nutshell if Michigan continues to play nice and be the poster kids for “we wanta get a big pastie and they’ll take it” they will continue to be singled out and to be quite frank, I think Harbaugh initially wanted to do just that to show we’re just as mean and capable of handling our business be it in court or on the field of play but the AD wanted to appease the NCAA who in these days you just don’t bow down you double down and fight.

This is BS

I’m usually down the middle, don’t get too upset in any direction.

But hell if this doesn’t piss me off.

We are being accused of doing something that happens in youth football, high school, and NFL. In person scouting is part of the game. And the only reason it’s not allowed in college is for cost control.

Literally everything we are accused of doing can be done via video. There is no competitive advantage. Sign stealing itself is not against the rules. So literally the issue is whether we did it in person, which has no violation associated to it.

So what are we even talking about? A bunch of butt hurt individuals that are too childish to give up a vendetta?

This is one of the most ridiculous accusations I have ever seen. A school can self report 170+ violations, and all is forgiven. We get accused of a lesser offense with no competitive advantage tied to it, and it’s a massive deal.

I’m tired of this shit. I want someone at UM to stand up and tell the NCAA to **** off (in more professional terms, to be certain).

Rant over…

Recruiting Intel: The latest on Cobi Campbell

North Idaho College guard Cobi Campbell visited Michigan over the weekend and walked away impressed with what the program has to offer.

Right now, he is hoping to make a decision in the next few weeks. The only viable option that he has in consideration right now is USC Upstate (on top of the opportunity he has at Michigan).

Sources close to Campbell say that he also has one more JUCO year available and that the team has a chance to be very good, so he has that option available that is a possibility.

We’ll see what happens but this is where things are at the moment.
